Suzaku is a tremendously powerful Fire Pal with a level 3 Work Suitability for Kindling. This makes it an excellent choice for dedicated smelting duties at the base and as a combat Pal, but it truly shines as an aerial mount. Soaring at decent speeds, Suzaku additionally strengthens the fire attacks of the player and itself while you ride it. This makes it an ideal mount when facing Ice or Grass Element Pals in Palworld.

Tracking down Suzaku in Palworld is no easy feat, requiring you to be a high enough level to brave the desert in the northeastern reaches of the map. With the boss version of Suzaku sitting at level 45 and the regular Suzaku in the area sitting in the level 40 range, this isn't a Pal to go after without proper preparations. This guide will explain exactly where to find both the regular and Alpha Suzaku in the desert, offer some strategy suggestions, and also touch on the Suzaku Aqua variant that can be acquired through Breeding.

Fire Pals are found in warmer areas of the map, especially near lava. That said, some Palworld locations are home to more Fire Pals than others.

How to Find Suzaku

Suzaku will only spawn in the Desert, found in the northeastern reaches of the current world map. This area is filled with level 30+ Pals, which pair with the scorching heat to make your journey all the more treacherous. Suzaku itself spawns at levels 40-45 and can be found all across the desert, becoming hostile if you get too close to it. It's best to bring out a Water Element Pal and shoot one from a distance to draw it in. It can conjure fire tornados to attack, which can be avoided by moving quickly to the left or right. Due to being a high level Pal, it is recommended to use Hyper Spheres or better when trying to catch Suzaku.

How to Find Alpha Suzaku

The Alpha Suzaku is a powerful boss found in the Northeastern Desert. It spawns at level 45 and attacks with an assortment of deadly fire attacks. It tends to use breath attacks, scatter shots, and the aforementioned fire tornados, along with an Air Shot. All of its attacks are fairly easy to dodge by circling around Suzaku at a medium distance. Water element Pals do the best job of wearing them down. It is recommended to use Hyper Spheres or better when trying to catch Alpha Suzaku.
