In Palworld, many different items can be harvested and collected for various purposes, such as reinforcing your base, forging new materials or tools, and even upgrading your Pals. However, with such a wide variety of different items in the game, some are naturally more difficult to acquire than others, making them quite valuable and rare.

Among these rare items is Precious Claw, which is identified as holding a high value among individuals across the islands. With Precious Claw being worth quite a bit of Gold Coin to NPCs, players can benefit quite strongly from collecting and selling off this item. However, to do so, players must know where they can reliably source Precious Claws so that they can create a stash to sell off for some very easy money.

How to Get Precious Claw in Palworld

In Palworld, obtaining Precious Claws isn't quite as simple as most other Pal drops and resources, which require simply harvesting the environment and catching or killing wild Pals. As Precious Claw is much more rare and valuable than most other items, it is restricted to certain Pals as a drop. To trigger a chance of obtaining Precious Claw, you will need to focus on taking on some dungeons, as only Alpha Pals (the static boss spawns across the world map and the giant end-of-dungeon bosses) will be capable of dropping this item upon successful capture or defeat.

It's important to note that Precious Dragon Claw may not drop every time, and it only has a chance of dropping from the Alpha variants of the Pals listed below. For example, Alpha Incineram may drop Precious Claw when successfully captured or killed, but regular Incinerams that you'll find wandering the islands will not be capable of doing so.

Unlike the majority of the items and materials in Palworld, Precious Claw is not used in recipes to create food for yourself and your Pals, tools, and weapons to help you explore the island, or objects and facilities to reinforce your Base. Instead, Precious Claw only serves a monetary purpose and has been identified as having a high resale value.

For this reason, it can be quite useful to collect Precious Claws during your adventure. This way, when you are short on Gold Coins and need to make some easy money, you can simply withdraw your collection of Precious Claws from storage, and track down one of the various Wandering Merchants around the islands to sell them off quickly and easily. For every Precious Dragon Claw that you sell off, you will fetch yourself 650 Gold Coins, which can quickly stack up to be quite a bit of money. For this reason, you should always try to pick up this item whenever you get a chance, as it is more than worth the investment.
