Getting Cloth in Palworld
As mentioned, Cloth is not something that can be obtained directly from Pals or the many resources out in the natural world. Instead, it is the creation of crafting, requiring two pieces of Wool as its core ingredient. Players will have to be at Technology Level 3, unlocking the recipe for Cloth and crafting it using the Workbench.
To always have plenty of Wool to craft Cloth, players can hunt down or capture as many Lamballs as they want in the world, but that can sometimes not be as efficient as it should be. The best way to gain a reliable source of Wool is to unlock and use the Ranch facility, which can be unlocked at Technology Level 5.
Once that is done, players can build the facility, and drop Lamballs within its vicinity. Pals working at the base start to take care of their fellow creatures and generate Wool constantly. Players are welcome to grab these dropped resources anytime they are back at base and start crafting the required number of Cloth as they need.
