Palworld is an exciting game that puts a player’s survival skills to the test. This RPG is set in an open world populated with adorable animal-like creatures, called Pals. Before they can set out on exciting adventures and capture Pals, players need to create their unique in-game character.

When they first begin the game, players can find Palworld's extensive character creator that they can use to create beautiful or horrifying characters to play. They can choose from plenty of options for the body type, face, eyes and eye color, hair and hair color, and even the sound of their voice. This gives players a wonderful chance to show off their personalities.

Is it Possible to Change Your Character’s Appearance?

With so many customization options, Palworld lets players make some decent-looking characters but also gives them the freedom to play around and create funny-looking or downright ugly avatars. As long as they’re in the character creation menu, players can spend as much time as they want to customize their character’s appearance.

However, players should keep in mind that all of this customization is purely cosmetic and does not affect the character’s in-game abilities in any way. Instead, players need to level up their stats to make their characters stronger.

How to Change Your Character’s Appearance

With Palworld’s v0.2.0.6 update, you can now change your avatar’s appearance without having to create a new Pal trainer. To customize your character’s appearance whenever you want, you need to own an Antique Dresser.

Antique Dresser Recipe

The crafting recipe for the Antique Dresser is available once the player reaches Level 24. It can be found in the Ancient Technology column on the right side of the Technology tree. You can unlock the recipe by purchasing the Antique Desk Set for 1 Technology Point.

Once you’ve unlocked the recipe, you will need the following materials to build the Antique Dresser:

20 Fiber
30 Stones
100 Wood
5 Ancient Civilization Parts

How to Use The Antique Dresser To Edit Your Appearance

After you’ve crafted your Antique Dresser, you simply need to interact with it to edit your character’s appearance. You will then be warned that your character will be defenseless while editing. As such, it’s recommended to use the dresser in a safe environment or deploy a partner Pal to defend you from random Base Raids.

The Antique Dresser opens up the Character Creation menu and gives you complete freedom to customize every part of your character. It’s completely up to you whether you want to make small changes, like trying out a new hair color, or bigger ones, like switching to another body type.

Once you’ve finalized the changes, simply select “OK” at the bottom right of the screen to confirm your character’s new appearance.
