Palworld, the runaway hit from newcomer developer Pocket Pair, was released a few weeks ago in Early Access. That means that while the game is fully functional, and many players have been very busy enjoying and exploring everything it has to offer, it's technically still in development and contains a fair number of glitches and issues. In fact, it's not uncommon for one to encounter a bug or two early in a playthrough.

Palworld and Pokemon Fans Should Keep an Eye on Upcoming Open World Game

Fans of Palworld and the Pokemon franchise should definitely be sure to keep an eye on an upcoming open world monster catching game.

Redditor caked1393 on the Palworld subreddit posted a gameplay clip in which their character was leaning back while walking, as though going up a slope. It's not made clear what they were doing that would have made the character get stuck in that particular animation, but it did elicit quite a few laughs. Some even made the comparison to Michigan J. Frog, the singing and dancing frog from the popular cartoon series Looney Tunes.

How Palworld's Early Access Is Going So Far

As Palworld navigates Early Access, its features and mechanics will still go through a number of changes and evolutions. Aside from fixing the abundance of random bugs that still plague it, Palworld players also have ideas for improving systems like weapons and base-building, so that the game can improve what is already a pretty solid foundation. It does seem like Pocket Pair is always listening and considering players' feedback, so it's not out of the question to expect a better game in the coming months.

Pocket Pair has issued a recent update to Palworld that fixed, among many things, a major issue that caused the game to crash when players had more than 7,000 Pals across a whole guild. There was also a bug that affected the capture rate increases given by Lifmunk Effigies, as well as the grenade glitch in multiplayer games. The patch also stops cheats and exploits that already exist early in Palworld's lifespan.

Meanwhile, the game continues to be very popular, with millions playing it around the world, only having been dethroned from Steam's top spot by Helldivers 2 after that launched. As Pocket Pair continues to add more features and fix Palworld's current issues, and perhaps even make it available on other platforms, this popularity will likely only stay consistent as time goes by, if not grow even more.
