A cross between a bird and an old western undertaker, Cawgnito has the legs and feet of a seagull, and dons a circular-brimmed hat and black cape as its attire.

An exterior skull worn like a plague doctor's mask also makes the character slightly fearsome, with the glowing red eyes hinting at the creature's supernatural abilities. Cawgnito is a useful early-game Pal with a range of uses and combat abilities, such as short-range teleportation.
