Headgear is an essential and necessary addition to a player's armor in Palworld, as they offer players further protection in tough battles. In addition to a player's shield and clothing, headgear is a great addition to supplement defenses against temperature and heavy attacks. This can come in hand when heading out to face the tougher Alpha Bosses available in the overworld, especially when facing harsh weather.

For players who wish to take on those battles in Palworld, this guide provides information about every type of headgear that can be unlocked, what kind of support they offer, and what it takes to craft them.

PALWORLD-HEADGEAR

Palworld headgear is obtainable via two different methods:

  • Technology tab, using Technology Points to unlock
  • Rare Schematics, earned from defeating Alpha Pals

Heagear that is unlocked through the Technology tab is the base form variations of this armor, while schematics earned from Alpha Bosses are the upgraded versions of those headgears. Each type of headgear will offer an increase to certain player stats, while the upgraded versions offer players a significant boost.

Every increase in power will give a higher boost to the Defense and HP stat, while becoming more resilient in lasting through tough fights. In the early game, receiving even the base-level Headgear will be a big help in surviving the dangers of Palworld, and venturing out into new areas to continue adding Pals to the Paldeck.

Here are the recipes for each Headgear:

  • Feathered Hair Band — Fiber x10, Paldium Fragment x5
  • Metal Helm — Ingot x20, Paldium x10
  • Refined Metal Helm — Refined Ingot x20, Paldium Fragment x15

  • Legendary Pal Metal Helm — Pal Metal Ingot x135, Paldium Fragment x135, Ancient Civilization Parts x19

Legendary headgear will cost the same type of ingredients as their base-form counterparts, but the quantity will increase drastically. Additionally, players will be required to use Ancient Civilization Parts, which can be earned from defeating Alpha and Shiny Pals.

Where To Find Legendary Headgear Schematics In Palworld

Palworld Alpha Penking

While players unlock each headgear at certain Player Level increases, the Legendary versions can only be obtained by defeating specific Alpha Bosses.

Legendary headgear will also require either the Production Assembly Line or Production Assembly Line II to make, which is a step up from the basic structure used to construct the base-form versions. Once those are available, head out to the locations of these following Alpha Bosses in Palworld:

  • Penking — Level 15, drops the Legendary Feathered Hair Band schematic.
  • Warsect — Level 30, drops the Legendary Metal Helm schematic.
  • Menasting — Level 44, drops the Legendary Refined Metal Helm schematic.
  • Frostallion — level 50, drops the Legendary Pal Metal Helmet schematic.

Once a schematic is gained, they will need to remain in the player's inventory in order to create them back at the base. Placing them in storage will remove the ability to make them, but can be stored away once the specific headgear is added to the inventory.
