Starting with the overseer stations, into the Secret Depths, and leading up to the much anticipated Vault of the Roots.

Overseer Stations Quests

After opening the Vaults of Waves, Flames, and Gales, Einar will send you a letter asking you to speak to him. He will then send you on a series of three different quests. There are three villagers in Kilima who know the locations of the overseer stations. You will have to go around and ask the villagers if they know the location. If they know the location, they will pin it for you on your map.

From there, you must interact with the mysterious tunnel. Chat with the Mysterious Device inside and select "Login." You will be prompted to enter a password in order to disengage the lockdown protocol. You can learn the password by reading the logs scattered around the station room.

Keeper Of Flames

The villager that knows the location of the Pyroflow overseer station is Sifuu. The station is located in Bahari Bay, north of Lighthouse Lagoon. Climb up to the top of the cliff to reach the top of the aquaducts. Near the drain, you will find the mysterious tunnel. Once inside, talk to the device and enter the password CATO to disengage the Garden Lockdown Protocol.

The villager that knows the location of the Hydroflow overseer station is Hekla. The station is located in Kilima near the Mirror Pond Ruins. Once inside, talk to the device and enter the password ASTA to disengage the Garden Lockdown Protocol.

Keeper Of Gales

The villager that knows the location of the Aeroflow overseer station is Caleri. The station is located in Bahari Bay near the Hideaway Bluffs. Enter the first mineshaft. There will be a glowing sign at the bottom. Walk into the room and climb up the wall to your right. Walk towards the train tracks and the second glowing sign. This will take you straight to the mysterious tunnel. Once inside, talk to the device and enter the password ACER to disengage the Garden Lockdown Protocol.

Secret Depths

Once completing the Keeper of Flames, Keeper of Waves, and Keeper of Gales, speak to Einar to initiate the Secret Depths quest. You will need to locate the Temple of the Roots to complete this quest. Talk to Hekla inside the temple. She will unlock the doors to the chamber. In order to bust the walls with a pickaxe. Explore the grand Temple of the Roots a bit and be on the lookout for treasure chests and experiment logs. Then go into the golden pipes and across the floating platforms to reach the Factory Entrance.

Speak to The Gardener through the voice box machine. He will let you know that one of the galdurs you have brought with you is malfunctioning due to having two Oneness instead of one. The Gardener will reset him. In order to bring Einar back to his usual self, you will have to locate The Gardener's core and sever his connection to the Flow network. This will open the door to the Factory Entrance.

This quest has players spreading their wings and reaching new heights as they glide through the air, collect eggs, and return them to their home.

Go inside the Factory Entrance and walk towards the back, where you will find a series of floating platforms. You will see a locked door and two glowing buttons. You must use the platforms to reach these buttons and press them to unlock the door. After unlocking the door, knock down a few more sets of walls, travel through the pipes, and take another platform to the big room full of lasers and plants. There are a handful of discarded galdurs strewn about. Make your way to the back of the room, across the final set of floating platforms, to reach The Gardener's core.

The Gardener in the Temple of the Roots

You and Hekla must convince The Gardener to return Einar back to normal. You will plead for his case, but he will eventually listen to Hekla after she shows him data from her relationship with Jina and your friendship with Einar. Speak to Einar once he is back to normal and head back to the entrance. The sliding puzzle that unlocks the Vault of Roots is near the entrance. This will complete the Temple of the Roots quest.

After the events that occurred in the Temple of the Roots, an animation will play out unveiling the Vault Of Roots. Meet Einar in the Night Sky Temple, which can be found near Hekla's tent in Kilima. Interact with the glowing stone device on the far right side to see exactly what contributions you'll need to unlock the vault.

This includes the Creatures of the Abyss, Fruits of the Earth, Prospector's Pal, and Rootseeker's Bundles. Einar will give you the first Rootseeker Medallion and you will be tasked with finding the remaining five. After unlocking all four of the bundles, you will earn a rare decorative Ancient Galdur Statue.
