How to Change Servers in Palia
While players can't select a specific server, they can easily change servers. Servers are separated by region, and your region can be viewed from the pause menu in the top left corner of the screen. One way to change servers is to reload the game. Players are placed on a random server every time they load into Palia.
Entering a new server can take a little while, depending on how active the servers are in your region.
Another way to change servers is to return to the Housing Plot. The Housing Plot can be viewed from the map, and players can travel to it quickly. Entering and exiting the Housing Plot causes them to jump to a different server. Changing maps and entering a different region, such as from Kilima to Bahari, has the same effect.
Players can also join the same servers as their friends. The friends list can be accessed by clicking "O." Players or a friend can send an invite to pull one or the other to their current server automatically. Alternatively, players can visit a friend's Housing Plot whenever they are online to be on the same server. Of course, joining the same party also ensures players will be on the same server when they load in.
Changing servers has minimal effect on the gameplay, but can change the community aspects of Palia. Players can manage their privacy and chat settings if they have issues with another player and want to stay on the same server.
