In order to unlock the Sushi recipe, you will first need to make sure you are at level 7 in your Fishing skill. You can easily level this up by going around and fishing in new areas, and discovering and catching new fish.
Once you've successfully reached level 7, you will now be able to make Glow Worms, an Uncommon Bait. They can specifically be crafted by using the Glow Worm Farm, which can be purchased from the Einar at the Fishing Guild (Kilima Valley) for 2,000 Gold. You will need the following materials to build a Glow Worm Farm:
- 12x Flow-Infused Plank
- 8x Stone Brick
- 3x Iron Bar
- 6x Leather

How to Make Sushi in Palia
With the recipe now officially unlocked, you will need a few different ingredients to make some Sushi. It will require:
- 1x Dari Cloves
- 1x Any Fish
- 1x Heat Root
- 1x Vinegar
- 1x Rice
- 1x Sweet Leaf
With these ingredients, you will also need 2 Prep Stations, a Standard Stove, and a Mixing Station to properly cook the recipe. At the Mixing Station, you will stir a Sweet Leaf to make it a Ground Sweet Leaf, and you'll take this along with the Vinegar and Cooked Rice to make the Sushi Rice. Make sure to add rice to the Standard Stove first to make the Cooked Rice. Then, at the Prep Station, you'll chop the Heat Root to make Chopped Heat Root, and chop the fish to make a Fish Fillet. Finally, add all the ingredients into the Dari Clove at the prep station to complete the Sushi.
