One of the most anticipated events of the year for Overwatch players is almost here. The October event, Halloween Terror, finally has a release date as well as a preview of the new skins players can unlock. Players can get access to at least six new skins, discounted old skins, and also play the Overwatch version of a zombie mode once again.

The Halloween Terror event will begin on Tuesday, October 13. Players will have until November 3 to unlock all of the new Overwatch skins and play Junkenstein’s Revenge, the zombie mode where players defend a door from waves of omnics and bosses. The event is one of the most popular that the game has, so players shouldn’t have much trouble finding matches during these three weeks.

In the video posted to Twitter, players get their first look at a new Dva skin, adding to the recent Overwatch All-Stars one that players can unlock until October 12. This skin appears to be some sort of purple and grey fox with a steampunk looking MEKA to go along with it. Dva previously got a Black Cat skin, but that one wasn’t for a Halloween Event.

The video also shows a trio of Brigitte, Echo, and Sombra. Brigitte appears to be an enchanted stone knight, almost like a magical gargoyle. Echo gets a creepy stitched doll appearance that makes the robotic character appear even less human. The invisible teleporting hacker Sombra gets a skin that looks far less impressive when compared to the others, sadly. Sombra’s new skin gives her a greenish glow with a grey and black outfit.

As for some of the big Overwatch fighters, Sigma and Winston both get featured skins. Sigma has a ghostly pirate appearance, adding him to the list of other pirate characters. Winston gets his winter yeti outfit but in a spooky werewolf form, complete with claws and fur. After rounding out the list with these two, it looks like players will get three tank skins, two DPS skins, and one support skin.

In addition to the new skins, players can also grab previous Halloween skins as well. Normally, new outfits cost 3,000 gold to unlock outside of loot boxes. Once they make a return appearance, this cost is reduced to only 1,000. Some noteworthy skins from previous Halloween Terror events include Pharaoh Ana, Warlock Ashe, Banshee Moira, Cultist Zenyatta, and Van Helsing McCree. Featured in Junkenstein’s Revenge mode are Pumpkin Reaper, Witch Mercy, Junkenstein’s Monster Roadhog, Dragon Symmetra, and Dr. Junkenstein Junkrat.

If players want to try this event on Switch, they can play Overwatch for free from October 13 to October 20. With plenty of ways to play and tons of skins to play for, this event is likely to be as popular as ever.

Overwatch is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
