BOB is arguably one of the best ultimate abilities in Overwatch, which many fans have been reminded of after seeing a clip on Reddit that shows off just how effective the giant omnic can be. In this clip, BOB was used to help get the player and their comrades a team kill.
There are a lot of amazing heroes to play as in Overwatch, with one of the things that players like the most about them being their ultimate abilities. One of the most beloved ultimates in Overwatch is Ashe's BOB, an omnic who can rapidly shoot the enemy team as long as there is nothing blocking the way.
A Reddit user, jakegene, uploaded an impressive clip, sharing one of their highlights, short videos that show off the best portion of a player's gameplay in each Overwatch match. In this highlight, jakegene played as Ashe on the Lijiang Tower map, and used BOB to wipe out the entire enemy team, with the help of their teammates.
On Lijiang Tower's Control Center stage, Ashe, Reinhardt, and Reaper worked together to defeat their opponents. As Ashe used her BOB ultimate, Reinhardt used his Earthshatter ultimate, knocking down their enemies. The enemy Junkrat was the first to be defeated by the ultimate abilities, immediately followed by Mercy and Baptiste. After using Earthshatter, the Reinhardt player also charged at the opponents, crushing the enemy Tracer, the only hero on the opposing team that Ashe did not help defeat. Reinhardt's Charge attack also caused Sigma to soar into the air, only to be shot down by Ashe and BOB while Reaper defeated the enemy team's Roadhog.
This clip has been seen by a lot of Overwatch fans. Some of them commented on how Ashe's support teammates, Lucio and Mercy, wasted their ultimate abilities at the end of this battle, and jakegene admitted that they had lost the match despite this amazing team kill. A lot of people were also shocked that this was a highlight rather than a Play of the Game, a clip that shows off the best portion of gameplay among all the players at the end of a match, with jakegene letting them know that one of their opponents, who played Reinhardt, earned it instead.
With Overwatch 2 coming out on October 4, many more impressive highlights and Plays of the Game will certainly be posted online by skilled Ashe players that use BOB to wipe out their enemies, just as jakegene has.
