Overwatch 2 is set to release on October 4, later this year, much to many fans' delight. The first PVP beta saw a record-setting viewership for the Overwatch category with 1.5 million people watching on Twitch. The second beta eventually opened up to all those who opted in and urged audiences to watch their favorite Overwatch Twitch streamers during Blizzard's Support a Streamer campaign, which could earn them the Legendary Medic Brigitte skin.

While players are waiting for the release of Overwatch 2, exploring the channels and communities that Twitch has to offer may be an enticing option. Twitch offers a variety of entertaining Overwatch streamers, from laid-back casual streams to intensive competitive gameplay.

Emongg

Emongg

Jeff Anderson, more commonly known as emongg, previously competed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive but later left to stream on Twitch full time. Sometime after, the off-tank player got into Overwatch professionally playing for Selfless Gaming. Emongg later partnered with Philadelphia Fusion and in more recent years, joined San Francisco Shock, one of 20 professional Overwatch league teams, as their first official partnered streamer. Emongg's Twitch channel is often light-hearted and mainly focuses on Overwatch, with a bit of Apex: Legends. His easy-going community is interested in watching the Overwatch Top 500 Tank compete against the best, though it's his gameplay and commentary that make it unique. This is the stream to be in for those looking for tips on how to play Sigma, D.Va, Zarya, or even occasional Wrecking Ball plays.

ML7

ML7

mL7, also known as mL7 support, is a full-time Romanian streamer and content creator for Team EnVy, best known for his legendary Overwatch support plays. mL7 mostly plays Ana, and sometimes Baptiste, and has climbed to rank one in the Support category. He is truly the streamer to watch for educational tips and decisive plays while providing both entertaining and original content. His play style is entirely unique and often hyperactive, which is what makes him so interesting to watch and cheer on. He currently streams five days a week, mixing a variety of Apex Legends, Dinkum, and Overwatch.

Harbleu

Harbleu

For those in the Overwatch community who have not yet heard the name Harbleu, they might have seen the wholesome video of the first time he hit rank one as a Tank during an iconic Top 500 Lijang Tower game. Anthony "harbleu" Ballo is currently signed with Luminosity Gaming and is truly one of the most skilled Tank players in the game, with teachable moments from his mechanical skills on Wrecking Ball and accuracy with Roadhog's hook. While harbleu's talent is without a doubt impressive, it's his extremely positive attitude and charming persona that captivates most of his viewers. The Tank player rarely engages in toxicity and always seems to be having a good time, which may draw more people to his stream if that's the kind of community they are looking for.

xQc

Twitch Streamer xQc Forced to End First LA Stream Early

Felix "xQc" Lengyel, formerly known as "xQcOW" is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, just a few places behind the likes of top streamers Ninja, auronplay, and Tfue, according to SocialBlade. He first played professionally for Dallas Fuel before being released midway through the inaugural season. xQc then began to focus on a full-time streaming Twitch career and signed with Sentinels, an American esports organization. At the moment, he is partnered with Luminosity Gaming and while he doesn't stream Overwatch as often as he used to, he certainly still garners a lot of interest when he does. During the first Overwatch 2 beta, he broke his Twitch viewership record peaking at over 312,000 concurrent viewers. Overwatch fans searching for a big Twitch community should look no further than xQc.

FitzyHere

FitzyHere

Connor Fitzpatric, more recognizable under his handle FitzyHere, is a professional Overwatch streamer and Top 500 DPS player, though he was previously known for playing Starcraft 2 with team ROOT Gaming. The streamer is now known for his incredible Sombra and Mei plays. FitzyHere has partnered with Blizzard several times, and was on the winning team for the Pride Celebration tournament, alongside his teammates Emongg, Jay3, KarQ, and mL7. Though Overwatch is what grew FitzyHere's YouTube and Twitch channels, he plays a variety of games which include but are not limited to Dead by Daylight, MultiVersus, and World of Warcraft.
