One of the standout traditions of the spooky season is Overwatch's seasonal Halloween Terror event. While it gives players time to earn all of the numerous event skins, sprays, emotes, and various other cosmetics that have been released over the years, it also brings the limited-time event Junkenstein's Revenge that sees four players controlling their favorite Overwatch heroes as they defend a castle gate against hordes of robotic enemies.

The mode also comes with a collection of achievements that can only be earned while the event is active. The achievements are split between a few different modes and their range of difficulty levels. The higher difficulties can get incredibly challenging, which makes the sprays that players earn from completing them a great way to show off their skills in the hero shooter, including the coveted Witch Mercy spray.

To collect all of the achievements for the regular Jukenstein's Revenge modes, Overwatch players will have to run through the mode several times. They will also have to play well with a number of different characters, which could prove to be a challenge for some players on higher difficulties. Challenges like Held the Door, Dawn Breaks, and Survivor are particularly difficult, and will likely take players several tries to complete them, although Unscathed and Not a Scratch are also very difficult and require a lot of communication between team members to obtain. While playing through the mode multiple times may get a bit old for some players, it is a great way to earn some of the skins available during Halloween Terror this year.

The challenge missions for Junkenstein's revenge offer players new ways to play a run of the mode with unique challenges added on. These include modifiers such as a ghost that follows the players around and deals damage to them, playing with only three heroes, players having their heroes randomly switched during the match, and even causing more rip tires to spawn after certain enemies are killed. The challenges have a pretty significant range of difficulty between them, but they each offer unique and fun new ways to experience Junkenstein's Revenge, especially for groups of friends. Hopefully, Overwatch 2 will bring some exciting new events like Halloween Terror for fans to enjoy.
