While a mindful Overwatch 2 player can perform some skillful dodges during the many chaotic gunfights in a match, one player's artful dodging with Zenyatta proves to rival Neo's own bullet-dodging in The Matrix. The game's emphasis on movement already guarantees some shots will miss the mark, especially among faster characters such as Tracer. Zenyatta, by comparison, is much slower due to his role as a healer, but the player's self-control shows speed isn't everything.

Overwatch 2's roster of colorful characters cover the spectrum in terms of size and speed to give players plenty of variety when it comes to playstyles. Anyone looking to move around the map at blazing speeds would likely choose Sombra and Genji, who are ideal for hit-and-run attacks, while players who want to fill a more typical, mid-range style assault character would play as Cassidy or Soldier:76. The laundry list of abilities at players fingertips reflect this mentality as well, whether it be Lucio's area-of-effect healing and speed boosts or Reaper regaining health when doing direct damage to opposing players.

Being a support-style character, Zenyatta has been a character more known for his effective healing and damage output rather than his effective movement. That said, a clip from Reddit user NaofumiXRaph shows speed isn't always necessary when it comes to out-maneuvering opposing players. Raph attempts to get the drop on the opposing Zenyatta - who is posted up on a small bridge on Rialto - with their Widowmaker, but the enemy player manages to quickly dodge Raph's headshot attempts with a quick duck and side-step.

The clip was met with amazement from other users commenting on Raph's clip, with some comparing the dodge to Neo's famous bullet dodge scene from The Matrix. Where Neo still manages to get scrapped by two of the Agent's shots, the Zenyatta manages to escape the opening salvo completely unscathed before turning the tables on Raph's Widowmaker. Zenyatta manages to get some damage in before the clip cuts off, though, leaving the end result of the gunfight ambiguous.

It is yet another example of the wild moments Overwatch 2's gameplay can create with the right combination of character and player skill. Social media is chock-full of more clips proving this, ranging from Lucio players wall-running their way back up from nearly being eliminated to a hail mary-style D. Va self-destruct that takes out most of the opposing team. More will surely continue to find their way online in the future, leaving players wowed in nearly every instance.

Overwatch 2 is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
