A growing number of Overwatch 2 players are reporting a frustrating matchmaking issue as they are convinced they’re playing with bots.

Similar to the previous Overwatch 2 update, this one also introduces some hero adjustments. There's been a notable alteration to the damage role's passive healing reduction, increasing it from 15% to 20%. This change affects the sustain capabilities of Damage heroes, fostering more strategic engagements during battles. Moving on to the tank category, Orisa has undergone specific modifications to her abilities. Firstly, her Fortify duration has been reduced from 4.5 to 3.5 seconds, making her more susceptible to enemy attacks for a shorter period while fortified.

Additionally, while in a fortified state, Orisa now moves 20% slower, highlighting the tactical decisions players must make when utilizing this defensive ability with this Overwatch 2 tank hero. The cooldown for her Javelin Spin has also been increased from 7 to 9 seconds, requiring players to time its usage more judiciously in combat scenarios.

In the Damage hero category, Venture is the latest addition to Overwatch 2's hero roster, and the character has also undergone nerfs to their abilities. The maximum explosion damage of Smart Excavator has been decreased from 45 to 40, slightly toning down its impact during engagements. Similarly, the initial impact damage of Drill Dash has been reduced from 40 to 30. Furthermore, the ultimate charge cost for Tectonic Shock has been upped by 10%.

Alongside these hero adjustments, the patch also addresses several bug fixes across the game. Notably, Streamer Mode now ensures that names are no longer revealed when blocking someone, enhancing player privacy. Additionally, D.Va's pings have been fixed to prevent chat issues. Moreover, a specific issue related to Venture's Drill Dash interaction has been resolved. Hanamura

  • We have fixed an issue with the lighting on Hanamura (Assault). This map is now available to play in the Assault Arcade mode and in Custom Games.

  • Fixed a bug that caused some pings from D.Va to enter several 0's into the chat.

Venture

  • Fixed an issue with Drill Dash that could occur when interacting with Doomfist's Rocket Punch or Orisa's Energy Javelin, sending Venture flying back at a great speed.
