The sheer variety of unique abilities in Overwatch 2 often make for some surprising moments during matches, and one popular clip shows how Tracer can effectively body block powerful attacks when in the right place at the right time. Since the latest season of Overwatch 2 has introduced the new hero Lifeweaver, skirmishes have seemingly gotten even wilder than ever before.

The ever-expanding hero roster in Overwatch 2 now includes a grand total of 37 different characters, each one complete with their own weapons and unique sets of abilities. A total of five new heroes have arrived in the game since the sequel launched back in October, with Blizzard planning to consistently introduce one new hero every couple of seasons. The sequel's adoption of the live service model has resulted in considerable tweaks to many aspects of the original game, and while many fans aren't happy with all of these changes, the new system is certainly keeping Blizzard encouraged to push new content out on a regular basis.

The variety of abilities in Overwatch 2 ensures that every match is packed full of potential interactions, and one video currently making the rounds on social media shows a surprising exchange between two Tracer players. The clip, shared on Reddit by a fan named Death_Urthrese, features the unlikely moment where one Tracer player blocks another Tracer's Pulse Bomb by teleporting directly into it at the perfect moment, saving their Ana in the process. This was likely just an incredibly lucky (or perhaps unlucky) move on the enemy Tracer's part, but it nonetheless highlights a rare moment that would be incredibly difficult to replicate, even intentionally.

The spectacular timing of this moment grabbed the attention of many fans, with many in the community praising the enemy Tracer's skills if their move to save Ana was an intentional one. While their blocking of the bomb could well have been an accident, they were even quick to teleport away from Ana again to ensure that she wouldn't be killed in the blast. While Tracer is already a difficult enough hero to get to grips with, a fairly recent tweak to the Overwatch 2 character makes it even harder to master her blink ability as it telegraphs it more so to players.

Hero changes and new content have been in high supply since Overwatch 2 dropped, but the game's live service has certainly proved to be a double-edged sword. Disappointment in the game's prices and monetization practices has driven many fans to call for a boycott since Overwatch 2 released, though calls for this sort of action have only grown louder since Blizzard revealed that key components of the game's PvE experience have been canceled.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
