Like previous ones, Overwatch 2 Season 6: Invasion brings with it a number of new cosmetics and customizations for its cast of characters. One such cosmetic is a new highlight intro for Moira called Power Emanates. This hilarious new snapshot of the hero has her holding both of her Biotic Orbs for a moment in consideration, only to cast aside the healing orb in favor of a second purple damaging one–a tongue-in-cheek jab at the trend of many Moira players to focus on DPS, rather than healing.

Though the meme of support characters ignoring their team in favor of dealing damage is one that touches every Overwatch 2 hero in the role, Moira is a particularly poignant example due to her high damage output. DPS Moira has been a huge problem in Overwatch 2's history, and even after multiple nerfs, she still tends to have a higher damage potential than many other support characters.

That said, Illari, Overwatch 2’s newest support hero, looks like she might give Moira a run for her money. Her kit has a lot of damaging potential, including a powerful ultimate that doesn’t do any healing at all. Early reports say Illari plays more like a DPS than a healer, so players will have to see how the meta adapts to this new support hero in the coming weeks.

Either way, players got a kick out of this new Moira highlight intro. Moira's fans and haters alike agreed it was terribly accurate to how many tend to play the Overwatch 2 hero, and players can’t wait to collect the new cosmetic. Unfortunately, Power Emanates is not a part of the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass, and is not available for purchase in the shop quite yet. Players can expect this hilarious new Moira highlight intro to be available sometime during Season 6, though it remains to be seen if it will be sold separately, or as a part of an unannounced Moira-themed cosmetic bundle.

Overwatch 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
