Through this release, fans of the beloved franchise have seen the emergence of numerous victory poses, emotes, and most notably, hero skins, of which are either Free, or limited to those who purchase the Premium iteration of the battle pass. Nevertheless, these exceptionally special hero skins have fans eager to rank up, albeit through daily and weekly challenges offered by Blizzard.

9 Bug Hero - Soldier: 76 (Legendary)

Soldier 76 - Bug Hero Skin

Renowned for his basic, yet highly effective skill set, Soldier: 76 was first to take the stage in Overwatch 2's latest battle pass. Entitled Bug Hero, and of Legendary rarity, this insect themed outfit have some fans confused as to the choice in design, due to his notoriously serious personality being paired with a light-hearted bug motif.

Although contrasting his identity, this PremiumTier 1 skin makes room for a distinctively unique shift in his pulse rifle design, pleasing the likes of players with Soldier: 76 gold weapons. While it may not live up to his previous counterpart skins, Blizzard's Bug Hero certainly opens up their highly anticipated Battle Pass with a bang.

8 Cobra Queen - Symmetra (Epic)

Symmetra - Cobra Queen Hero Skin

As previously mentioned, some items within the new battle pass are Free to all players looking to earn some freshly released cosmetics, while others are unlockable through the purchase of the Premium version. With that said, Symmetra's long-awaited addition, in terms of hero skins, was unleashed through the first Free skin, entitled Cobra Queen.

Although only of Epic rarity, this minimalist design has been yearned for by Symmetra admirers alike, brandishing a sleek, all-black color scheme, destined to stand out with the purchasing of her gold weapon. Unlike that of Soldier: 76's Bug Hero design, this Tier 10 outfit was an evident implementation by Blizzard, as not only does it represent her sharply intelligent personality, but also her strategically precise behaviorisms too.

7 Poseidon - Ramattra (Legendary)

Ramattra - Poseidon Hero Skin

Bursting onto the scene within Season 2, is the unambiguously brutal tank hero, Ramattra. Boasting an unstoppable skill set, alongside a detrimental ultimate ability, Ramattra's dominant stance, with regard to the established Overwatch 2 roster, is that of a much sought out one, inevitably altering the way in which team-fights will unfold from now on.

Contrasting his cohort heroes, it is inevitable that Ramattra doesn't have an abundance of skins, therefore demonstrating his newly founded Poseidon outfit as a profoundly inimitable one. Holding the Tier 20 position on the Premium battle pass, and of Legendary rarity, this Greek Mythology design further adds to his ruthless nature, as not only does he rule the battleground, but for those who don this skin, the ocean too.

6 Botanist - Ana (Legendary)

Ana - Botanist Hero Skin

Synonymous among support heroes, Ana's abilities oftentimes determine the outcome of various matches within the Overwatch franchise. With the capability to sleep enemies that are initiating their ultimate, alongside the heal-restricting use of her Biotic Grenade, it is a no-brainer Blizzard have decisively implemented an additional skin design for the widely iconic grandmother.

In relation to her already available wardrobe selection, this Tier 30 cosmetic sits among the most unique, relishing in both a floral and garden-keeping concept. Entitled Botanist, and of Legendary rarity within the Premium battle pass, this skin flawlessly depicts Ana's caring nature, determined to be a number one pick for materialistically-driven fans.

5 Dance Machine - Echo (Epic)

Echo - Dance Machine Hero Skin

Despite Blizzard's lucrative launch regarding Echo's release, there has been a rather bumpy ride in terms of players selecting her, at times spiking, yet also plummeting. The versatile nature that resides in Echo's skill set poses for a dangerous team composition, as her mimicking ultimate ability has the potential to discombobulate enemies entirely.

Being the most technologically advanced hero in the franchise, Echo's quirky nature is often reflected through her skins, emotes, and dialogue, giving reason to her Dance Machine skin design. Available at Tier 40, and of Epic rarity within the Premium battle pass, this groovy, rainbow-coloured cosmetic sees Echo brandish her lovable personality, retreating back to Blizzard's initial representation of this DPS (damage per second) hero.

4 Street Urchin - Tracer (Legendary)

Tracer - Street Urchin Hero Skin

Arguably the face of the Overwatch franchise, Tracer's fast-paced gameplay defines this title's FPS (first-person shooter) outlook, chaotically, yet precisely eliminating and distracting enemies from all angles. Wielding two Pulse Pistols, alongside the ability to teleport and travel back in time, Tracer's rapid behaviorisms leak through into her witty personality, oftentimes entwined within her British dialogue and nature.

Entitled Street Urchin, and of Legendary rarity within the Premium battle pass, this Tier 50 skin's inspiration was clearly taken from Tracer's British background, evidently depicting a Victorian pick-pocket. Despite successfully matching with her personality, Blizzard's prudent choice to implement this skin is seen by some fans as a rather lousy effort, donning a rather dull color scheme, and minor differentiation to her Pulse Pistols' design.

3 Hades - Pharah (Legendary)

Pharah - Hades Hero Skin

Poised as an original member of the Overwatch DPS roster, Pharah's efficiency has surpassed the likes of other selections within the hero pool. Whether chosen for her displacement abilities, through the use of her Concussive Blast, or her sheer capability to attack enemy compositions from above, Pharah's popularity has maintained steady throughout the entire franchise.

Preserving the Greek Mythology theme would be that of Pharah's Hades skin design, unlockable at Tier 60 within the Premium battle pass. Though her history resides within Egyptian culture, this Legendary cosmetic suits her effortlessly, brandishing the infamous three Cerberus heads on her jetpack armor. Blizzard's meticulously intricate design revolving around this skin has not only astonished devoted fans, but has also reflected their creative expenditure with regard to cosmetic design.

2 Primordial - Ramattra (Epic)

Ramattra - Primordial Hero Skin

As already stated, Ramattra's presence within the Overwatch franchise is that of an assertive one, as is his recurring placement within the battle pass.

Dubbed Primordial, and of Epic rarity within the Free battle pass, fans argue this skin design has taken direct inspiration from his heritage, being that of his connection to the Shambali. Although a rather outstanding reflection of the tranquil Shambali, Ramattra's bulky, war-driven hero design can be seen as a contrast to this Tier 70 skin's overall nature.

1 Zeus - Junker Queen (Mythic)

Junker Queen - Zeus Hero Skin

Albeit a relatively new concept, Blizzard have selected Junker Queen to temporarily conclude the Mythic skin series within the franchise. With her intrusively destructive skill set, players often select Junker Queen to create sheer fear in the enemy's composition. Related to both Ramattra's Poseidon and Pharah's Hades with regard to Greek Mythology, and entitled Zeus, Junker Queen fans are now able to don powers beyond their imagination, directly from lightning itself.

Brandished as the climax to the Premium battle pass, being that of Tier 80, Blizzard's beloved queen will be utilized as the final reward, granted to those who seek the challenge of completing Season 2's arduous cosmetic journey.

Overwatch 2 is available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
