Overwatch 2 has just released its big blowout trailer for Season 10, named Venture Forth, which shares the name of the game's newest DPS hero, Venture. Players recently had the chance to go hands-on with Venture for a trial weekend, giving the Overwatch team an opportunity to see how the new hero performs live in-game. Venture will also be the first new Overwatch 2 hero to be unlocked automatically for everyone without requiring them to purchase the Battle Pass.

Not every Overwatch 2 season is packed to the brim with a ton of new content; some of them end up being lighter than others. Since new heroes are added to Overwatch 2 every other season, the seasons which introduce new heroes tend to bring more to the table alongside the new characters. With Venture joining Overwatch 2's steadily growing roster, it seems like this will be the case for Season 10, as Overwatch 2 is looking to have a ton in store for fans to engage with over the next few weeks and months.

Overwatch 2's Season 10 trailer gave fans a small glimpse at all they can expect when Venture Forth goes live on April 16. First and foremost, the trailer unveiled the Battle Pass theme, Mirrorwatch, which remixes many of the game's characters. For example, Symmetra will have a Junker Queen look, Widowmaker, Doomfist, and Sombra will all have Overwatch agent skins, and Brigitte and Mercy's skins make them members of Talon. Additional Talon skins for Reinhardt, Tracer, Sojourn, and Ana will also be available in the shop, along with new skins for Echo, Orisa, Zenyatta, and Overwatch 2's new D.Va Porshce skin. Mercy's Vengeance Mythic skin includes three color combinations: blue and white, black and purple, and her Talon variant, which is black, white, and red, with an intimidating white skull mask. Players who may have missed out on past Mythic skins will have a chance to grab them from the shop this season as well.
