Overwatch 2 is Collaborating with Porsche

Porsche has never shied away from engaging in partnerships in the gaming industry, especially with Microsoft. Many of their crossovers were related to the Forza series, but last year, Microsoft announced custom Xbox consoles and controllers in partnership with Porsche. The car manufacturer has also ventured into hardware alongside AOC, creating the Porsche Design AOC AGON PD27 gaming monitor. More recently, there was a collaboration between Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Porsche in a video titled Driven by Dreams.

It's not uncommon for luxury brands to partner with gaming companies. Crossovers like these provide an excellent opportunity to unite two worlds, especially in live service games. Fashion brands like Fendi and FRGMT collaborated with Pokemon series to release luxury items such as purses, jewelry, and outfits based on the evolutionary family of Dragonite. This showcases the gaming industry's influence and how it has long been taken seriously by the market as a whole.
