Although Mei has the perfect kit for denying certain enemy Ultimates in Overwatch 2, one player shared an unfortunate experience where the Mei on their team accidentally set up the perfect triple kill for the enemy instead. The incredibly diverse sandbox of abilities in Overwatch 2 allows players to combine different heroes' skills in unique ways, with a steady stream of ability tweaks and the occasional new character switching up the flow of combat in the game for better or worse.

Season 2, the latest season of Overwatch 2, has already brought a ton of new changes and content to the mix which has done much to change the meta. Alongside the introduction of Ramattra, the game's latest hero and first "tempo tank" whose new powers aid in both advancing on the enemy and defending positions, the season also brought along many balance changes to certain heroes including Sojourn. This was followed up more recently with the January 5 patch, which brought further tweaks to the capabilities of heroes including Junker Queen, Zarya, Brigitte, and Moira, although many players in the community feel that the game needs to fine-tune a few tank characters such as Roadhog in order to make the current meta feel less punishing.

Although her kit in particular has seen little in the way of change since the launch of Overwatch 2, Mei remains a somewhat popular pick among fans, with one player capturing a funny incident showcasing a friendly Mei player accidentally helping the enemy team. The clip, which was shared on Reddit by the user damnmyglock, shows how the Mei player raised up the opposing Cassidy with Ice Wall and set him up for a swift Deadeye triple-kill. Although the Ice Wall was likely intended to block the Cassidy off, it only ended up moving the gunslinger out of the way of a sleeping dart fired by the Ana player who captured the video.

Although the ability itself was never changed, fans that have been enjoying Overwatch 2 since the start of Season 1 might remember that a glitch relating to Mei's Ice Wall caused the character to be removed from the game entirely for a couple of weeks. While the bug itself wasn't much of a problem for oblivious players, it was found that her Ice Wall made it possible for players to exploit the terrain in certain maps and escape to out of bounds areas which aren't intended to be visited.

Overwatch 2 has certainly had no end of problems since the game launched, ranging from server issues and bugs to the biggest complaint from fans which pertains to cosmetic prices in the shop. Although Blizzard has been providing a constant supply of updates in response to player feedback, fans insist that certain characters need further tweaks going forward.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
