Booting up Overwatch 2 for the first time can give players a sweet beat when it's the Kiriko screen; so much so that gamers are trying to look up what song that is. It's in Japanese, so it's not like English-speaking gamers can type in a few of the lyrics and hope to find it.

Thankfully, some dedicated musical ears that heard the song have let the Overwatch 2 community know what it is. The beat, lyrics, and mood fit Kiriko well and the gamers who want to use her as their main character will enjoy catching her spirit outside of the game as well as inside of it.

This is an explicit content warning. The unedited song features swear words in English, including the full name of the band. The video also has drug references and adult content. Please exercise personal discretion when listening.

Kikiro's Theme Song

Overwatch 2 Kiriko Main Screen

Kiriko's theme song is called 'BOW' and the artist is MFS. Again, use earnest personal discretion, but those interested can find the song here. If it sounds familiar, it should. Fans looking forward to the game will recognize this as the infamous "Face Kicking Time" song heralded in the Overwatch 2 animated short featuring Kiriko.

It makes sense that Blizzard would want to have a banger of a song for Kiriko. When unlocking all of the heroes, she's one that requires leveling up the battle pass. The marketing team is hoping this will be an even more lucrative monetization model than the loot boxes in the previous game. Giving the toughest hero to earn a bit of extra hype is a savvy investment strategy.

Overwatch 2 Kiriko Making Threats

She's one of the best support heroes in the game if the song isn't reason enough to try and unlock the character. Her healing dwarfs classic healers such as Mercy and Lucio while her damage output is almost on par with DPS heroes, especially if the player using her is a headshot master. Add in an unprecedented level of utility for this role and she's somebody who the pros will expect in every game. The signature jam is really just the icing on the cake.

Overwatch 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
