Some players are having difficulty finding matches of Junkenstein’s Revenge in Overwatch 2 due to long queue times. While Halloween has ended, Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror event is still going on until November 8, offering several LTMs for players to check out. Despite introducing the new Wraith of the Bride mode, some still want to revisit the classic Junkenstein's Revenge. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done.

As the original Halloween LTM for Overwatch, Junkenstien’s Revenge has been around for a while. As it currently stands, the mode is meant to be played co-operatively with a team of four players. It takes place in front of the castle of Aldersbrunn, also known as the Eichenwalde map outside of the Halloween event. The mode features chaotic action as players must take down waves of enemy Zomnics and defeat bosses based on heroes from the game.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as KrakJesus shared a picture of their queue time for Junkenstein’s Revenge in Overwatch 2. Surprisingly, the image revealed that the player had been waiting for over 36 minutes to find a match. It is worth noting that this screenshot of the queue time was for the PC pool of players, and they were attempting it in the version called Junkenstein's Endless on Expert difficulty. It is possible that there could be more gamers checking out the mode on console and the other difficulty settings.

However, the responses of other members of the Overwatch 2 community seem to suggest that this is a widespread problem. Beyond this Reddit users’ long queue time, other gamers have chimed in, pointing out that they have experienced similar issues. Some gamers have even claimed the only way to find a match for the game mode was to queue in a party with three other friends, eliminating the need to find a random player. In addition, another user noted that it took them eight minutes to find a game for the new Wrath of the Bride LTM, suggesting that the long waits extend beyond the classic Junkenstein’s Revenge.

Unfortunately, this is not the only issue players have been running into while checking out the Halloween Terror event for Overwatch 2. In addition to the long queues to get into the LTMs, this latest event has caused controversy surrounding the new Kiriko Witch skin. This skin was originally only available to purchase as part of a bundle, causing frustration for many players. While Blizzard has since made the skin purchasable separately, it has not satisfied a lot of fans. It appears the still high prices of these Halloween-themed skins, coupled with the long queue time for the LTMs, is causing the event to be one some fans would rather forget.

Overwatch 2 is available in early access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
