One Overwatch 2 player has shared an incredible Play of the Game clip which shows off the moment that they annihilated nearly the entire enemy team with a single Ultimate, all while falling off the map to their doom. It's not uncommon to see Hanzo's Dragonstrike ability being used to score some amazing Play of the Game clips, though players of Overwatch 2 are now able to add a romantic flair to their Hanzo clips thanks to the hero's new Cupid skin.

Overwatch 2 has provided players with a bunch of new skins, titles, highlight intros, and more with the Ultimate Valentine event, letting fans celebrate Valentine's Day in the world of Overwatch with those they love. Alongside a limited-time game mode that brings back Hanzo's Scatter Arrow ability, Blizzard has also introduced the online dating simulator "Loverwatch," which allows fans to romance certain characters from the game and even earn free in-game rewards by doing so. Hanzo's new legendary Cupid skin will come at a price for players seeking it though, and is temporarily available in the Overwatch 2 shop for 1,500 coins.

This impressive Play of the Game was shared on Reddit by the user Jroxs12pone, who almost scored themselves a team kill with Hanzo's Dragonstrike all while donning the character's new Cupid skin. With the clip starting by showing off Hanzo's new highlight intro, it goes on to show the player firing off their Ultimate at the capture point while it's being occupied by the enemy team. Though it's hard to tell whether jumping backwards off the map was part of the plan or not, it did get the player the angle they needed to clear out four members of the enemy team, with the final enemy being taken care of right afterward by a different player.

Being the one character in the game to wield a bow, it only makes sense that Hanzo has received so much attention in the Ultimate Valentine event due to the similarities to Cupid, the god of Love. His new skin is complete with a number of visual effects and sounds which bring out the theme of Valentine's Day, including heart effects with every arrow shot and small, fluttering wings for each time he lunges in the air.

As detailed as his new skin is, Overwatch 2 fans largely remain upset with the prices charged for cosmetics in the in-game shop. This new system has persistently been the subject of criticism since the game released, though the developers' decision to provide freely-available cosmetics during events has helped to alleviate some of the complaints related to cosmetic availability.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
