Unlike Roadhog who's set to get a rework in Overwatch 2 in the near future, Reinhardt remains commonly played outside competitive ranks. While many Reinhardt fans are hoping for a similar Overwatch 2 rework, Director Aaron Keller suggested that they may be waiting for a while.
Aaron Keller recently confirmed the Overwatch 2 Roadhog rework is coming in just a couple of days. This caused a Twitter user to ask the Overwatch 2 Director when Reinhardt may be buffed after what they consider "3-4 seasons" of neglect. Highlighting some impressive Reinhardt stats, Keller stated that Reinhardt is roughly tied for the top tank spot with Junker Queen and Sigma in mid-rank play and lower. Keller also revealed that Reinhardt has above 50% win rate in the Overwatch 2 competitive Grandmaster level which shows that the hero doesn't need a buff as badly as Roadhog.
