A clever D.Va player used a Symmetra teleporter to get an awesome team kill in Overwatch 2. The team based first-person shooter was created by Activision-Blizzard has a heavy focus on esports and competitive gaming. D.Va is one of the more mobile tanks from Overwatch 2 and has an extremely powerful ultimate ability, Self-Destruct.

D.Va is also one of the more unique characters from Overwatch 2 because the character has a mech suit that she can be ejected from and two separate health bars depending on whether she is in her mech or not. While D.Va's Self-Destruct ability can be extremely dangerous, it can be particularly difficult to get utility from in higher ranked lobbies because of how effective high level players are at avoiding the explosion. Also, when using the ability, D.Va is temporarily removed from her mech suit, leaving her vulnerable to enemy players.

This clip displays a tactic that D.Va players can combo with other heroes in the game to improve their chances of getting team kills in their Overwatch 2 lobbies. Potential-Ad-8768 uploaded this play of the game clip online as a post to Reddit. The impressive clip takes place on the Midtown map from Overwatch 2 near the first point under the bridge. For a moment D.Va appears to fumble their ultimate ability as they drop Self-Destruct directly in front of them and are nearly killed by the enemy team before the ability interacts with a well place Symmetra teleporter. The ultimate is then teleported to the enemy team before they have a chance to respond and gets an amazing team kill, clearing the point for capture.

The poster of the clip explained in the caption of the post that they tested the Overwatch 2 combo ultimate with their nephew. Other Redditors complimented the impressive team kill in the comments and the post even received a comment from someone who was playing from the other team. In their reply to the post they described how their team was freaking out when the D.Va player pulled it off and congratulated them on the game.

Overwatch 2 can still be a lot of fun and the online competitive shooter is currently on its second competitive season. There have been several complaints from fans about the state of the multiplayer, but hopefully Blizzard is planning to address these issues as it continues to support the game with changes scheduled for Season 3 of Overwatch 2.

Overwatch 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
