Widowmaker's appearance paired with her cruel demeanor has made her captivating, and Blizzard is not shy of this. Much of her outfits accentuate her sleek yet chic silhouette. She has garnered quite the gallery when it comes to her clothing, and with the release of Overwatch 2, it may be the right time to rank her best skins.

9 Black Lily

Widowmaker's Black Lily Skin

This skin was released in celebration of the Lunar New Year 2018 event on Overwatch. Black Lily provides Widowmaker with an elegant appearance while remaining true to her dark nature. The black legging on her left leg adds a unique touch to Widowmaker as it is embroidered with the theme that the character represents.

The flower details on her dress, ranging from the black lilies to the blue lilies on the perimeters of the dress, are eye-catching. There are also more subtle touches that latch this look together. The hair clip having the red symbol and being placed on the back of her head is an ode to the idea that nobody can hide from Widowmaker’s sight.

8 Scorpion

Widowmaker's Scorpion Skin

Scorpion is arguably Widowmaker’s most detailed skin. The small horns clawing out of her hips, headgear, and gloves only add to the assassin's fierce and poisonous nature. The yellow-to-brown color scheme is an unconventional choice that doesn’t disappoint. Yellow being the complimentary color to her purple skin, brings out her complexion like never before.

The most impressive touch of this Widowmaker skin has to be the headgear. Not only does it mimic the tail of a scorpion, but it is also used to replace what would have been her signature ponytail. Some would argue the overall look is a bit tacky, but nobody can deny the skin's dramatic details.

7 Spider

Widowmaker's Spider Skin

A Spider skin theme is an obvious pick for Widowmaker, but this option's color choices are stunning. The pink-black look adheres to the classic depictions of man-eating Widows. The recolors are beautiful, even Widowmaker’s eyes are hot pink, matching her short sleeves and legs.

Another detail that adheres to Widowmaker's theme is the spider webs that cascade her thighs and are apparent on her gun and headgear. The headgear’s web is a subtle gray that looks to be of a more realistic web, nonetheless, it is paired with glaring pink lights that signify the eyes that can see and kill everything.

6 Pale Serpent

Widowmaker's Pale Serpent Skin

Pale Serpent is one of Widowmaker’s brighter-colored skins, taking a more innocent approach to her overall mean nature in Overwatch. The baby pink compliments the white embroidery that caresses her dress.

The outfit has details that resemble the scaly skin of a snake, varying from white to metallic silver. Though the skin looks innocent, the sharp white nails remind gamers that this is still the emotionless Widowmaker with perfect aim.

5 Overwatch 2

The debut of Overwatch 2 brought a new default Widowmaker skin that is nothing short of remarkable. The design's metallic purple is darker than her previous default skin, and it compliments the overall black silhouette that encompasses this skin.

Furthermore, Blizzard's decision to replace her signature ponytail with a large single braid led to a sleeker appearance. The headgear she operates with has received some changes too, with a brighter silver and more rigid outline. These look to be upgrades in her tech, whilst still representing one of the best snipers in the game.

4 Nova

Widowmaker's Nova Skin

Nova is a Widowmaker skin that greatly changes her base look. The blonde hair and blue-eyed look are certainly a shift from her usual appearance, however, she still has the vicious and intimidating demeanor we know to be Widowmaker.

Rather than the classic headgear she tends to wear, it is replaced with goggles with multiple glowing blue eyes. Nova’s outfit overall resembles the outfits gamers will have seen in action or sci-fi movies, giving it a nostalgic touch that can’t be ignored.

3 Cote D’azur

Widowmaker's Cote D’azur Skin

A widely popular skin among Overwatch 2 fans, Cote D’azur finds Widowmaker on holiday. The floral skirt hangs beautifully on her hips and the colors flow seamlessly with her purple skin and dark hair. The bikini top is slightly darker, and yet has a red ribbon in the middle, matching the tattoo on her thigh.

It’s an oddly funny sight; Widowmaker is often ruthless, and yet she has a skin for when she would like to relax. It isn’t easy being the top assassin, even Widowmaker herself needs a break.

2 Medusa

Widowmaker's Medusa Skin

Widowmaker’s 2023 skin had the community in a frenzy. The look's small details, such as the different colored jewels that hug her body, are stunning. Her skin is green like a typical snake and her eyes are black, only with a tinge of yellow only adding to the reptile silhouette. The tattoo that goes down her thigh and the shoulder of a man’s head being strangled by snakes look menacing, this is very within character.

Widowmaker’s signature ponytail is now a herd of snakes cascading down the back of her body. They move of their own accord and are a beautiful rendition of Greek mythology’s Medusa. The gold-plated bands around her thighs show she is almost consumed by the snakes but unaffected, outlining how poisonous she herself truly is.

1 Ange de la Mort

Widowmaker's Ange de la Mort

Widowmaker’s character truly embodies Ange de la Mort, the angel of death. Rather than her ponytail, it is a long hood with a large raven-like headdress. It provides the true assassin’s touch while showing that Widowmaker’s work is seamless, where one can’t detect her.

The full black appearance detailed with the tattered edges is villainous by default, but the skulls placed on her hip and shoulder truly depict a heartless being. Her gear within Overwatch is a poisonous trap containing purple liquid, in the container on her wrist players can see that the purple is replaced with a bloody red. The subtle red details on the skull, her nails, and even her eyes look demonic, and that is what gamers are led to believe she is whenever playing against her in a match. Many players still hope this skin will return to the Overwatch 2 shop as it is very becoming of Widowmaker and still manages to look chic.

Overwatch 2 is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
