The slate of Xbox Series X games launching alongside the console tomorrow has been in constant flux, with games being added on a regular basis while others, like The Ascent, have been removed from the Series X’s launch day lineup. Now, literally just a few hours from launch, one more change has been made with the addition of Overcooked: All You Can Eat to the lineup.

The announcement was made today on the game’s official Twitter page, and answers a question fans of Team17’s chaotic cooking game series have had for a while. It was recently confirmed that Overcooked: All You Can Eat is a launch title for the PS5, but the Xbox Series X version was merely stated to be “coming soon,” suggesting that it might launch on Microsoft’s console at a later time. Luckily for fans on Xbox, that won’t be the case, and in fact they’ll be able to jump into it before PS5 players can.

As a next-gen compilation of Overcooked, Overcooked 2, and both games’ DLC add-ons, All You Can Eat might not be strictly new, but it will have plenty of new content to offer fans. In addition to new levels and chefs, the compilation will introduce online multiplayer to the series while adding visual upgrades to the games’ stages. Better yet, All You Can Eat will come with a range of accessibility options, such as an Assist Mode and features designed to make the game friendlier to dyslexic and colorblind players.

There will be even more to come in the months ahead, as Team17 has confirmed that cross-platform multiplayer will round off Overcooked: All You Can Eat’s new features early next year.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat will launch on November 10 for Xbox Series X and on November 12 for PS5.
