Outriders has gained an impressive community following with its unique mix of RPG and third-person shooting gameplay just about two months after release. However, Outriders still has a long way to go, as it suffers from many different technical issues that fans aren't too pleased with.

One of these issues being the drop rate for legendary weapons in the game. Originally, there were many issues of fans suffering through long droughts without being lucky enough to get a legendary weapon.

Now, on an official Reddit post made by some of the developers, the team has shown the multiple ways it is going to fix these problems, as well as a couple of other issues, as part of the next patch for the game. Once that happens, the Legendary drop rates in Outriders will increase by 100% for all of the different items.

Additionally, the Legendary Level Brackets will also be taken away as a way to ensure that Legendary weapons can drop from enemies at any level. However, the stat base scaling for these weapons still applies and will be better at the higher levels. So players who still want the best version of their ideal weapon should continue to farm in the more difficult areas of the game.

There is also now going to be an Anti-Duplication System put in place to help fans get a unique variety from their drops. This essentially means that the system will check to see if the player has an item with them, and it creates a copy of that item, then that newly created item will only drop once. Also, bosses will now be able to drop any non-class specific legendary armor, versus only being able to give out items from a pre-determined list of options.

As of now, this new patch is currently going through rigorous testing, but the team is hopeful that it will be ready for release sometime early next week. Along with these changes, there will also be improvements made with the multiplayer experience as well. The team then ends the post by saying these changes had to take as long as it did because there was a risk of negatively impacting sign-in times for the game. Hopefully, all these changes help gamers gather a massive new arsenal in the game without the massive headache of constant grinding.

Outriders is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
