As players make their way through Outriders' The Outriders' Legacy side quest, they will eventually receive a key from Lucy. This key is to be used to open a hatch in the Quarry, though some players may be confused about exactly where to find it. Fortunately, it is not extremely difficult to locate the Quarry hatch in Outriders, and players that read on should have no trouble getting past this stage of The Outriders' Legacy.

To start, fans that are working on this mission should make sure that they have advanced the game's main quest far enough to have access to the Quarry. This requires the completion of a Trench Town quest called Onslaught, and indeed players may need to put The Outriders' Legacy on hold while they focus their efforts on making more progress through Outriders' main story. It should not take too long to unlock the Quarry, though, and fans can visit the hatch as soon as that is done.

With respect to exactly how to reach the hatch for this Outriders side quest, players should start by fast traveling to the Quarry. Fans should then head south from camp in order to access the Nesting Grounds, and they should eliminate the enemies in the hideout when they reach it. When that is done, players should open the hatch that is in the ground near the hideout, and the onscreen waypoints will make finding it a breeze.

To note, this is not the only part of The Outriders' Legacy that requires fans to push the game's main quest forward. In fact, players will need to get all the way to The Gate in Outriders before they can fully complete this side quest, and reaching that point will take a reasonable amount of time. There is certainly no rush to finishing this optional task, though, and some fans may want to wait until they unlock The Gate before they really dig into it.

For those players that are curious, one of the rewards for completing this quest appears to be a guaranteed legendary weapon in Outriders. This means that many fans will definitely want to work through the mission, even though it may be quite long. It is important to mention that players will not receive a legendary on subsequent completions of The Outriders' Legacy, and it may not be worth finishing it more than once as a result.

Outriders is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
