The English translation of the manga has been collected into 2 volumes as of May 2023, with two more volumes set to arrive in August and November. The first season of the anime series produced by staff at Doga Kobo ran for eleven episodes from April until June 2023 with Rie Takahashi cast as the series' poster child Ai Hoshino; Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine and Yurie Igoma as Ruby. The series was directed by Daisuke Hiramaki (Key Animator, Naruto Shippuden), with scripts by Jin Tanaka and character designs by Kanna Hirayama.

The final episode of the first season of Oshi no Ko was evidently gearing up for the next chapter in the narrative, and given the series' immense popularity, especially at its start, the continuation of Aquamarine Hoshino's quest for vengeance in anime form comes as no surprise. With the mystery surrounding Hoshino Ai's death far from solved, fans of the anime will be happy to see their favourite stars shine again in the near future.
