The Big Debut

Oshi no Ko E11 B Komachi

As B-Komachi prepares for their very first show, various people at the festival start to gather to watch the upcoming performance, with one staff member in particular being a former fan of Ai and the original B-Komachi. As the fans gather, Kana notes the glow stick colors picked, with Red representing Ruby, Yellow representing MEM-cho, and White representing Kana. As the performance begins, Kana notes the distinct lack of white glow sticks among the sea of yellows and reds and starts to lose confidence again. Ruby notices her starting to lose heart and tries to pick her up, reminding her to smile for the crowd.

However, Ruby's attempt at encouragement has the exact opposite effect. Kana becomes envious of Ruby's natural star power, and believes Ruby has all the makings of a top-tier idol. Loneliness begins to take hold of her once again as she cries out in her heart for someone to want her when Aqua grabs her attention by holding up a white glow stick. He immediately starts performing a dance while holding glow sticks for all three girls, which surprisingly encourages Kana. Thinking that it's cheating for Aqua to hold all three colors as if he's not supporting any one of them in particular, Kana declares that as long as she's an idol, she won't give up until she becomes Aqua's favorite.

Mended Connection

Oshi no Ko E11 Love Triangle

On the ride home, Kana asks Aqua what he thought of their performance. Aqua remarks that it was fine, and that they will go on to have much more stunning concerts. Miyako, sensing a chance to have the two make up for good, asks Aqua about his relationship with Akane. Kana is reluctant to hear about it, but when Aqua mentions that the relationship is only for appearances due to the show, Kana immediately bounces back to her energetic self. This sudden display of good cheer finally makes MEM-cho realize that Kana has feelings for Aqua. With Aqua and Akane's odd relationship in the mix, MEM-cho becomes distraught as she wonders who she should support over the other.

Back at home, Kana confronts Aqua about his pretending to be Pieyon. Aqua admits that he did it because Kana wouldn't talk to him, which immediately makes Kana squeal with delight. She begins obnoxiously teasing Aqua until he gets fed up, a scene that looks like bickering to MEM-cho but to Ruby is a sign that they've finally made up. Ruby explains to MEM-cho that Kana brings out a side of Aqua that he hasn't really shown since childhood, and the two have a special connection because of that. Inwardly, MEM-cho worries about Akane, who also holds special feelings for Aqua.

A producer speaks with Kaburagi about his upcoming project, a stage adaptation of popular manga and anime franchiseTokyo Blade. While he already has Lala Lai and Akane Kurokawa on board, he wants Kaburagi to provide some more actors to fill out the cast. While on a work date to create the appearance that they are dating, Aqua and Akane talk about their roles in Tokyo Blade. The two play lovers, but Aqua's character happens to have another love interest, who turns out to be played by Kana.

Kana herself appears to warn Akane not to immediately post to social media while outside lest she grab the attention of stalkers and malicious fans. As the two throw jabs back and forth at each other, it's clear that the two clearly have a strong rivalry, one that goes back a long way. Both Kana and Akane see Tokyo Blade as a way to even the score between the two of them, while Aqua sees it as a path to investigate Lala Lai, the place where Ai supposedly met his father. A myriad of motivations and ambitions are set to collide in the next arc, which won't happen until the series returns with a Season 2.
