The trailer for Marvel Studios' upcoming series Moon Knight released earlier this week, and the studio has now revealed a video of stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke watching the preview for the first time. While fans have expressed their excitement over the trailer for the much-awaited series, it is endearing to watch the two actors react to each moment in the two-minute preview.

Moon Knight will be the first Marvel Studios series to premiere on Disney Plus in 2022. Arriving in March, it follows in the footsteps of five very successful series that premiered on the streaming service last year as part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will follow the journey of Isaac's Steven Grant, a gift-shop employee, who experiences a mental condition that leads to multiple identities.

The Moon Knight trailer begins with Isaac's Grant, a.k.a. Marc Spector, laying in bed and fiddling with a Rubik's Cube, and while many would think he is just acting, Isaac reveals in the reaction video that he can actually solve the cube with ease. “You’re kind of like a genius,” jokes Hawke. They both like the “creepy” vibe towards the beginning of the trailer and appreciate the use of Kid Cudi's “Day 'N' Nite” as the theme.

The two actors go on to watch the rest of the trailer and share funny comments at almost every moment. “The reflection. Pyramid. Crocodile. Old flip phone.” It’s almost as if they are trying to point out Easter eggs for fans. At one point in the video, Isaac mocks his own British accent for Moon Knight, something that many fans have also commented on since the trailer dropped.

Both actors share a laugh over Lucy Thackeray's short appearance in the trailer as Donna, Grant’s colleague. Hawke's funniest observation, however, is comparing himself to Marlon Brando from The Island of Dr. Moreau. When Moon Knight is revealed in the final moments of the trailer, the two actors cheer and hug it out.

Apart from Isaac and Hawke, French actor Gaspard Ulliel will also appear in Moon Knight as Anton Mogart, a.k.a. Midnight Man. In the comics, he is a notorious thief who commits his heists at midnight, hence the name. Unfortunately, before the series has even premiered, Ulliel died after a skiing accident in the French Alps.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney Plus on March 30, 2022.
