Microsoft just unveiled the latest trailer of Ori and the Will of the Wisps during its press conference at E3 today in Los Angeles. The upcoming Metroidvania platfomer will be released on February 11, 2020, and it will also be available to the Xbox Game Pass.

Will of the Wisps will serve as the sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest, which is the gorgeous 2015 game that was able to sell enough copies in its first week to earn a profit. The latest E3 trailer for Will of the Wisps showcased the game's iconic art style where Ori is seen traversing the landscape while battling oversized enemies.

Moreover, just like in its predecessor, Ori is seen flying on the back of a baby owl, which is probably one of the coolest ways to travel in the game. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will not only focus on platforming and exploration, but it will also allow players to engage in combat within the game.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps was also showcased at last year's E3 2018 with a gameplay trailer, showcasing the all-new combat system and customization options. Developer Moon Studios is introducing several new changes to the game such as a more seamless save system and gigantic creatures to defeat such as a giant spider, giant worm, and many others. The upcoming game is also accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful musical score and its iconic art style that its predecessor was applauded for.

Initially set to release in 2019, Ori and the Will of the Wisps made our list of the most highly-anticipated games of the year, thanks to the success of its predecessor that not only introduced a fun puzzle-solving gameplay, but also a moving and engaging story. The latest trailer for Ori and the Will of the Wisps showed new locations to explore and puzzles to solve outside the forests of Nibel.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is set to release on February 11, 2020, for the PC and Xbox One.
