A perfect victory can be achieved by the player after meeting 2 conditions at the end of a map. The first condition is that the rift is at full health. To achieve this, players must prevent any and all enemies from reaching the rift by laying down traps and using weapons to eliminate them. If a single enemy makes it to the rift, the player will not receive the full 4 skulls for rift health. The second condition is to complete the map quickly. To achieve this, players will need to place traps quickly and eliminate the waves of enemies as fast as possible. If both of these conditions are met, players will achieve a perfect score resulting in 5 skulls.
1 How To Acquire Bonus Skulls
Bonus skulls can be obtained in a variety of ways ranging from monster drops to achieving a new high score on a map or mission. Listed below are some ways to get bonus skulls.
- Monster Drops - Sometimes upon killing enemies they will drop a skull. This is completely random so be on the lookout for these and pick them up between waves.
- New High Score - When players replay a map and beat their old score they will get an extra skull.
- New Highest Kill Streak - Awarded when players achieve a new higher kill streak. Kill streaks are a combination of the player's traps and weapon kills within a certain period of time.
- New Highest Combo - Awarded when players achieve a new higher combo. Combos are achieved by hitting an enemy with a variety of different damage types in a short amount of time. This could mean burning an enemy before they step on a spike trap infused with lightning.
- Lifetime Minion Kills - This one is awarded when players reach a monster kill milestone. This includes enemy kills from all modes.
- No Damage Taken - Complete the map or mission without taking any damage.
