TeaserPlay has created yet another impressive Unreal Engine 5 concept video, this time imagining an open world video game based on The Incredible Hulk. Marvel's Hulk character has enjoyed some success in video games before, but he's only been featured as the main character of his own game a handful of times, and only a scant few of those games were considered to be any good by fans and critics.

While Hulk has been featured in team-based games like the Marvel's Avengers live service game in recent years, it's unclear if he will be given another chance at a starring role any time soon. The last game based on Hulk to launch was the 2008 game The Incredible Hulk, which was a tie-in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. But while it remains to be seen if Hulk will ever get his own game again, the latest video from TeaserPlay gives fans an idea of what such a project could potentially look like.

TeaserPlay's latest video is yet another Unreal Engine 5 concept, and it showcases an open world Hulk game. In the video, Hulk is standing on a rooftop in what is presumably New York City before jumping to the ground. The ground cracks when Hulk lands, and then he slowly walks forward to go face-to-face with Abomination. The video cuts off before fans get to see the showdown between Hulk and Abomination, unfortunately.

Judging by the reactions to the video, it seems many would be open to an open world Hulk game, though one has to wonder who would make such a project. There are a variety of Marvel video games in development right now, like Amy Hennig's World War 2-era game with Black Panther and Captain America, EA's Iron Man game, and Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine video game projects.

The Wolverine teaser trailer from Insomniac teased that Hulk could have some involvement in that game. In the trailer, fans can spot a license plate that reads HLK 181. This is a reference to Wolverine's first comic book appearance, The Incredible Hulk #181, where the two heroes fought each other. It's possible that this Easter egg was just meant as a nod to Wolverine's history, but it could also be a hint that Hulk may be featured in the game.

Even if Hulk appears in the Wolverine game, it still wouldn't be in a starring role, though, and so it would be a far cry from TeaserPlay's concept video. It seems if fans want to play a high-quality Hulk game, they will have to stick with The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for now.
