In Ooblets, Oobsidian is described as a "rare mystery pebble found throughout Oob, thought to be a hardened byproduct created by gleamy Ooblets." Players will need to get their hands on this crafting material to purchase (and upgrade) Oobcoops.

How to Get Oobsidian in Ooblets

Wishy Well

There are a couple of different ways to obtain Oobsidian in Ooblets, but the most reliable way is to just buy them from the Wishy Well for 100 Wishies. To use the Wishy Well, players can either open up the menu and tab over to the 'Stuff!' section, and then click on the well icon on the left side of the screen. Players can also visit the Well in the middle of Badgetown to get certain items too. However, since Wishies are hard to come by, players should go another route for getting Oobsidian.

Oobcoops

Oobcoops can be made by going to Sprin's furniture store and interacting with the Fabricuter machine on the left side. However, it'll only appear as one of the recipes once players get the Oobcoop blueprint from the Wishy Well.

The Oobcoops are used by Ooblets and can help the player maintain the farm by automatically watering crops and speeding up the growing process. The more upgrades players get for it, the more Ooblets can be assigned to it.

There are four tiers of upgrades for an Oobcoop, and players will need one Oobsidian for each one.

And to get Oobsidian, players need to assign Gleamy Ooblets to the Oobcoop. Gleamy Ooblets are essentially like Shiny Pokemon from the Pokemon series, in that they are different colored than your normal Ooblet.

In the Town

And last but not least, Ooblets players have a chance every day to find Oobsidian just lying around Badgetown, so make sure to explore often. They can also be fished up by using the Sea Dangling spot at the dock.

And, those rocks that are always on the farm? Players can break them to have a small chance of obtaining Oobsidian, too. But don't rely on this method, as it can take lots of time and stamina to break a lot of rocks in one day. But if a player is broke and desperate for Oobsidian, get smashing away.

Ooblets is out now for PC, Switch, and Xbox One.
