Recognizing that time is a precious resource in Ooblets is huge toward winning the game. Tending to the farm can easily take over half of the day, wrecking any meaningful time that should be spent winning dance-offs, getting first place in tournaments, or unlocking new areas.

Watering plants needs to be done constantly and it's just not an efficient use of time. Those who want to thrive in Ooblets will want to make sure their plants are watered automatically. That is a noble goal that requires rainplops. So where do players get their hands on some?

Gathering Rainplops

Ooblets A Rainy Day By The Seed Shop

Rainplops can only be gathered on rainy days. So if it's sunny outside, don't bother turning over every rock until coming across some. Go about the day as usual. Unfortunately, in the meantime, the character will have to water plants the old-fashioned way with a watering can.

When it's rainy, there are usually two to four rainplops around Badgetown. They won't be indoors, but check along the roads, docks, beach, or by the trees. They can also potentially spawn after not appearing initially, so do a final sweep at the end of the day.

Ooblets Spotting A Rainplop

If it's not raining yet, remember that rainplops alone don't become sprinklers. First off, gamers will need to farm up some wishies for any automatic watering devices at all. The best ones require lots of wishies. Next, these devices require other items like sprockuts, spicyspears, lots of nurnies, and clothlets. Stock up on those while waiting for the rain to come in.

Finally, it must be advised that players turn rainplops into good sprinklers and not the basic or medium varieties. Since rainplops are such a scarce resource, turning them into anything less than the best feels like a letdown. These good sprinklers can be turned into a Sprinklehot XL, the best farming tool in the game.

Ooblets is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
