A new season of One-Punch Man is on the way. The official One-Punch Man anime website announced on Thursday that the anime adaptation of ONE’s popular manga series will be getting a third season.A release window has yet to be announced. A teaser visual featuring Saitama and Garou drawn by the anime series’ character designer Chikashi Kubota was revealed as part of the announcement.RELATED: One-Punch Man: What to Expect From Season 3 (According to the Manga)Kubota is the only confirmed staff member for the upcoming series so far. No information regarding the anime’s cast or staff was released as part of the announcement. The studio handling the third season has yet to be announced.Season 1 of the One-Punch Man anime was handled by Madhouse, with J.C. Staff taking over for the series’ second season. Season 1 of the anime was released in 2015 and season 2 in 2019. Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy, Sonny Boy) directed the first season and was succeeded by Chikara Sakurai (Shenmue the Animation, Little Busters! ~Refrain~) for season 2.ONE’s self-published ­One-Punch Man webcomic debuted in 2009 and is ongoing. A digital manga remake written by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata (Eyeshield 21) began serialization in Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump magazine in 2012. The series has amassed 26 collected tankōbon volumes throughout its run so far.Tomohiro Suzuki (Tiger & Bunny, Boogiepop and Others) handled the screenplay for both seasons of the anime. Makoto Miyazaki (Hyouka, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composed music for seasons 1 and 2.

The third season of ONE’s Mob Psycho 100anime adaptation was announced in October 2021 and is set to premiere on October 6. The manga ran in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday and MangaONE magazines from 2012-1017, amassing 16 collected tankōbon volumes.

The Mob Psych 100 anime adaptation first aired in 2016, with Studio Bones at the helm. Yuzuru Tachikawa (Deca-Dence, Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine) directed the first two seasons but will be succeeded by Takahiro Hasui (My Hero Academia, Bungo Stray Dogs) for season 3. Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) handles the series composition with veteran composer Kenji Kawai (Higurashi: When They Cry, Barakamon) contributing the series’ score.

The One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100 anime are available to stream on Crunchyroll. One-Punch Man is published in English by VIZ Media. Mob Psycho 100 is published in English by Dark Horse Comics.
