Of course, Luffy is the most important member of the pirate crew, but with him are the wings of the Pirate King, whom fans know as Sanji and Zoro. These two individuals are going to be extremely important in the Final Saga, especially when it comes to the fighting side of things. In fact, Oda might already have highlighted the final opponents for them to take on in One Piece, and they certainly look like exciting clashes.

Zoro And Sanji's Progression

Sanji And Zoro Have Consistently Gotten Stronger

Featured One Piece Episode 1058 Release Date Sanji Zoro

Zoro and Sanji have progressed in incredible ways over the years in One Piece. Ever since Sanji joined the crew, these two have had a friendly rivalry, where they push the other person even further and ensure that they reach the next level. Zoro and Sanji have had a healthy rivalry for the most part, and it is because of the presence of the other that they are able to reach that much higher levels. They have always progressed similarly in the story, and great examples of this have been portrayed by Oda in the major arcs of One Piece. For instance, in the Arabasta arc, both Zoro and Sanji took on the number one and number two of Crocodile's unit respectively. In fact, inside Crocodile's very own group, Bon Clay and Daz Bones had a sort of rivalry, which was evidently portrayed by Oda on purpose.

In Enies Lobby, Zoro fought Kaku, and Sanji to Jabra, who only had a difference of 10 Doriki, which, once again, goes to show that they are almost neck and neck. Similarly, in the Wano Country arc, where the Straw Hats fought an all-out battle, both Zoro and Sanji were faced with similar level of opponents. Zoro fought against King, and Sanji fought against Queen. These two were both right-hand men of either, and some of his strongest underlings, with both of them qualifying under the rank of All-Star. Zoro and Sanji gained incredibly high bounty after bearing them. Zoro received a bounty of 1.111 billion berries, while Sanji got a bounty of 1.032 billion berries, which, in both cases, do not actually reflect their true level of strength.

If we win this battle ... Yes, we'll be closer to .. Luffy becoming the King of the Pirates!

Still, their progression has been constant and fans know that as the story continues, they will most certainly be focused on more, as they defeat stronger opponents, and gain further strength as well. Zoro and Sanji have, for example, shined quite a lot in the Egghead Island arc, although it can be said that Sanji has had bigger roles to play in this arc overall.

Zoro And Sanji's Final Opponents

There Are Plenty Of Powerful Enemies For The Wings Of The Pirate King

Figuring out the final opponents for Zoro and Sanji is not all that difficult for the fans. The very first thing that the fans need to keep in mind is that the Straw Hat Pirates will be faced by the Four Emperors, and more importantly, the Marines and the World Government now. Clearly, Oda has started to focus more on the World Government than the Marines lately. A good argument can be made that Zoro and Sanji will face their final opponents from this group. For instance, the Admirals are up for the taking for both of these powerful individuals. It can easily be said that, at some point later down the line, Sanji will fight against Kizaru, while Zoro will fight against Fujitora. This would make a lot of sense.

However, while these are strong opponents, they are most likely not going to be the final ones for Zoro and Sanji. That is not to say that Zoro and Sanji won't fight against them. There is a big chance that when the Marines and the Straw Hat Pirates clash, these will be the matchups for these individuals. However, what can also be said is that there are stronger opponents for them to take on, whom Oda has already built up over the years.

YOU'D BETTER START DRAFTING AN APOLOGY LETTER FOR THEM THEN! - Sanji

When looking at the likes of the other pirate crews, the Blackbeard Pirates can be said to be the most prominent enemies of the Straw Hat Pirates. From this pirate crew, it is evident that Zoro will fight against Shiryu, while Sanji will most likely fight against Kuzan. These matchups are also some of the most interesting ones that fans could end up seeing in One Piece, And they are sure to live up to the expectations. However, these matchups certainly don't look like they are going to be the last ones for Zoro and Sanji. There are better opponents for them to take on.

Recently, in the Egghead Island arc of One Piece, Oda introduced villains that are even stronger than the Admirals, and there are certainly plenty of them. Fans know that Imu is one of the endgame villains of One Piece. They are incredibly powerful, and their strength is such that only Luffy will most likely be able to match them. As is the case with the vast majority of major battles in One Piece, when Luffy takes on the strongest, the second and third strongest are taken on by Zoro and Sanji.

As such, it is entirely possible that they will take on two of the strongest Elders. In this case, it is highly likely the Zoro will end up taking on Saint V. Nusjuro, while Sanji will end up fighting against Saint Marcus Mars. These would make perfect matchups for these two individuals, especially because they are just that powerful. At some point in the story, Sanji and Zoro will come up against them, and crush them in battle, which would certainly be a delightful sight for the fans to witness.

How Strong Will Zoro And Sanji Be At The End Of The Story?

Zoro And Sanji Will Be Among The Strongest

Zoro and Sanji

Clearly, at the end of One Piece, Zoro and Sanji will be incredibly powerful. In fact, it can clearly be said that these two individuals will be on the same level as the likes of the Emperors of the Sea. Zoro will have become the World's Strongest Swordsman by defeating Mihawk at some point in the story, possibly before he faces off against the World Government and, subsequently, Saint V. Similarly, Sanji will have achieved greatness as well by fighting against the likes of the Marines, and of course, taking down St Marcus Mars next. By achieving such magnificent feats, both of them will have reached the next level.
