As soon as the series entered its last stretch, it was clear for the fans to see that the Five Elders are going to be incredibly important.

Starting from the revolutionary flashback that fans were given through Sabo, it became apparent that the Five Elders were not just political figures but tremendously powerful warrior gods with amazing Devil Fruit abilities up their sleeves. One by one, these Five Elders will be revealed to the fans and Oda will illustrate what they are capable of. Naturally, fans will wonder who the strongest member of the Elders is and the answer to that question might be quite surprising.

Saint Jaygarcia Saturn's Showing On Egghead

The very first member of the Five Elders that fans got to see the strength of is none other than Saint Jay Garcia Saturn. Saturn is the major antagonist of the Egghead Island arc, which is the very first one in the Final Saga of One Piece. Saturn came to agathEgghead to eliminate Vegapunk, and his rule here was extremely important, given that Vegapunk had access to the Saeraphims and 50 Mark 3 Pacificas on the island. At the same time, they were also other powerful Pacifistas that the navy would have struggled against if they were left on their own. All the Pacifistas have a control hierarchy and Vegapunk sits very high up the pecking order. In fact, the only person above Vegapunk are the Five Elders and that is precisely why Saturn came to the island themselves, given that he was the only one knowledgeable when it comes to science.

Saturn's strength is evident from his very title. He is the warrior god of defense science and, by the looks of it, fans can see that he can cause many diseases through unknown means. When it comes to combat, Saturn possesses a mysterious ability that allows him to transform into a yokai of the Ushi Oni. Fans have already seen its mysterious strength and this creature holds tremendous power up its sleeve. Saturn can freeze people in their position using an invisible force, or vegan deal great damage to them, once again with an invisible power.

Above all, Saturn possesses an incredible regeneration factor. In fact, even if he ends up losing large chunks of his body, he regenerates as if it were nothing. Saturn also possesses quite a powerful hockey. This was evident from when he stepped on the island and his aura was felt all over. Even Luffy, who was in Gear 5, was seen sweating over feeling his presence. Overall, Saturn can be considered to be a very high-level fighter the strength of which can be considered to be above the level of even the admirals.

The Portrayal Of Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

Out of the Five Elders, the character that fans would likely be most excited to see in combat is going to be Nusjuro. This individual receives special attention because, out of all the Elders, he's the only one who is seen to carry a proper weapon for combat. He has access to a powerful sword that seemingly belongs to the Supreme grade class. This sword is the Shodai Kitetsu, one of the strongest blades and certainly the strongest and the Kitetsu line. For those who do not remember, Zoro currently carries the Sandai Kitetsu, which is the third generation blade of the same Kitetsu family and also the weakest one.

Nidai Kitetsu was in Wano, and the Shodai Kitetsu is currently being wielded by a member of the Five Elders. This blade is known to be cursed and it is believed that it brings a terrible death to those who wield it. The fact that this blade has been revealed by Nusjuro for so many years and that he has proven himself to be stronger than the curse of this power.

One Piece: The Limits Of Gear 5, Explained

Despite its power in One Piece, Luffy’s Gear 5 still has its limits.

What fans fans know is that it is tremendously overpowered and the fact that he revealed a Supreme Grade Weapon just puts him in the same rank as some of the strongest characters in the entire series. Added to that is the fact that he possesses some mysterious ability that likely belongs to the Hito Hito no Mi class as well. His powers are also awakened, just like Saturn and other members of the Five Elders. He is certainly one in contention to be the strongest member of the final elders.

The Strength Of The Remaining Elders

Of course, there are other three Elders as well and these are Saint Mars, St Ju Peter, and of course, Saint Warcury. All of these are going to be incredibly powerful and there's absolutely no denying the fact that their strength will be comparable to some of the strongest fighters in the entire series, such as the Yonko. All of them also hold special abilities that allow them to transform into mysterious creatures. They are also all awakened and power users, which only strengthens the idea that they hold tremendous power up their sleeves.

Unfortunately, fans do not know how much about what power the other members of the Five Elders hold or what their abilities are. The only thing that fans know is that they all possessed some type of Zoan ability and that their strength is going to be immense.

Who Is The Strongest Elder?

When thinking of who the strongest member of the Five Elders is, one might be inclined to think that there is a large power difference between them. However, that is certainly not going to be the case. The Five Elders all hold the same position and same authority. As a result, their power is also going to be comparable. As such, the fact is that they are all equally powerful. While there might be some who hold an advantage over the others, there might be other Elder who hold an advantage against that particular Elder, which goes to say that there is no defined order of strength for the members of the Five Elders. Fans need to remember that the Five Elders are not like the Yonko crews do. They don't have tiers and they all hold equal authority.

That said, there are some members of the Elders that will likely receive special attention. These are the opponents of characters such as Zoro and Sanji. For instance, the bald Elder, is certainly going to get a lot of special attention, and as a result, fans might expect more from him. At the same time, if Sanji ends up fighting Saturn, then, Saturn will likely have the second-best showing of any other elder. That is certainly not to say that the other members of the elders are going to be weaker. It simply means that they might end up getting a bit less attention. If Luffy ends up fighting any other member of the Five Elders, then fans can rest assured that that particular Elder is likely going to get the best showing of them all, since he would then be up against Luffy.
