One Piece fans have been enjoying the high-quality anime and manga for the last few years. Both mediums have been performing superbly, and it is reflected in the ratings. One Piece fans were used to the manga releasing one incredible chapter, which was filled with information and amazing artwork. The anime was lagging behind, but Toei decided to up its game and give fans a taste of what the studio could do. As a result of the change in approach, the Wano Country arc received critical acclaim, and fans were pleased with it as well.

Once the arc concluded, some viewers were skeptical about whether Toei would handle the Egghead arc with the same care. It didn't take long for the studio to erase all doubts. All the episodes in the Egghead arc have been outstanding, especially the one that consisted of Luffy's fight with Lucci. The run of amazing episodes looks to continue with 1109. In the preview for One Piece Episode 1109, some big news was confirmed.

In recent years, One Piece fans, especially those who regularly watch the anime, have become familiar with the name Vincent Chansard. He is an extremely talented animator from France who has worked on a good number of different anime, which include Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Vincent Chansard also worked on One Piece Film Red, which became one of the highest-grossing anime movies of all time. In the preview for One Piece Episode 1109, fans could see different shots that reflected Chansard's work.

Naotoshi Shida is a legend in the anime industry. He has worked on numerous anime projects, and he has a distinct style of animation that is easily recognizable. He has worked on One Piece many times, and he was the one responsible for animating Luffy using Gear 4th for the first time in Dressrosa. Shida has also worked on other names, such as Dragon Ball Z, Hajime no Ippo, Toriko, and Digimon. Like Chansard, Shida is also going to be involved in One Piece Episode 1109, so fans can expect many incredible scenes.

What Will Happen In Episode 1109

One Piece Episode 1109 is crucial to the overall story as the Straw Hat Pirates have to defend themselves from the attack of the Seraphim. In total, there are four Seraphim on Egghead Island, and they are based on Jimbei, Boa Hancock, Bartholomew Kuma, and Dracule Mihawk. The Seraphim are genetically modified beings, and they are capable of fighting against veteran fighters. The Seraphim also possess various Devil Fruits that give them an edge in the fight.

With the odds stacked against them, it appears that Luffy will form an unexpected alliance with Rob Lucci. The Seraphim attacked the CP0 agents, which implies that whoever is ordering the weapons wants them dead as well. Given their current situation, the Straw Hats need all the help that they can get. When Lucci and Kaku are unshackled, the Straw Hats will stand a better chance of winning. It will be interesting to see whether Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku use their Awakened forms as well or if they will use their normal hybrid forms.

There is also the possibility that fans may see the opportunity to see Eustass Kid and Shanks fight. When the two previously fought, it resulted in Shanks cutting off Kid's arm. While the young pirate has improved, there is no telling whether it will be enough to damage Shanks. The chances of the entire fight being wrapped up in one episode are low, as the anime might extend it. Whatever happens with Shanks and Kid, it is clear that One Piece Episode 1109 will have a lot of action, and the inclusion of Chansard and Shida alongside other talented animators shows that it will make for a splendid watch.

Another highlight from the arc was the confirmation that Jewelry Bonney is indeed the daughter of Bartholomew Kuma. For years, fans speculated that there was some kind of connection between the two, and now it has been confirmed that the two are father and daughter.

One Piece manga readers are aware of the fact that the Egghead arc has the potential to surpass the Wano Country arc. There are many more secrets in the arc that the anime has yet to adapt. Furthermore, there are several important fights, the results of which will send waves through the anime community. So, they will be hoping that Toei utilizes its best staff for the arc. Considering the quality of the episodes released so far, it looks like Toei wants to make sure that the Egghead arc does not suffer from a drop.
