In the Final Saga, Shanks has played a major role already. Ever since the Final Saga began, Shanks has actively been in the hunt for the One Piece itself. It appears that Shanks, all this time, was simply waiting for Nika to descend upon the world and as soon as that happened, he confirmed to Ben Beckman that he wanted to go for the One Piece now. Clearly, Shanks is now more serious than ever before. Oda himself supports this idea as well as, in the past, he once stated that the moment fans start seeing more of Shanks in One Piece, they can assume that the story is in the final saga.

This is quite similar to what fans have seen over the course of the last year, as Shanks is now more involved in the story than ever before. Fans already saw Shanks dealing with the aftermath of the Wano war by keeping away Green Bull from attacking any people of Wano. Later on, he was seen in the land of Elbaf, where he fought against the Kid Pirates and completely dismantled them with a swing of his sword. Shanks is also on the lookout for Blackbeard and that appears to be his main goal at the moment.

Shanks and Blackbeard are most likely going to have a confrontation at some point in the Final Saga, and that is something that every fan is eagerly waiting for already. There are lots of interesting things that fans will get to see in the Final Saga of One Piece pertaining to Shanks and, it is possible that fans might even get a look at him sooner than expected, provided he is in the vicinity of Egghead Island.

In One Piece chapter 1106, fans saw that Dorry and Brogy arrived at Egghead, which was a major surprise to everyone. For those who do not remember, Dorry and Brogy are two minor characters in the Arabasta Saga that fans saw long ago in One Piece. When the Straw Hat Pirates left the island of Whiskey Peak, they traveled to Little Garden, and it was on this island that they met the two Giants, Dorry and Brogy. These two Giants revealed themselves to be former pirate captains who engaged in a long duel with each other. As a result, this duel kept them on the island for 100 years, and all of their battles were tied, until Mr 3's involvement led Brogy to win the last fight, however, by unfair means.

As the Straw Hat Pirates departed the island, these two Giants continued fighting once again. However, in the Final Saga, it was finally revealed to the fans that these two Giants had officially left the land of Little Garden and went back to their homeland, Elbaf. They were seen involved in the battle against the Kid Pirates, where their powerful Hakoku Sovereignty destroyed the Kid Pirates flagship, Victoria Punk, and sent the crew to the bottom of the ocean. Now, it appears that the Giant Warrior Pirates have arrived on the shores of Egghead Island in an attempt to help Luffy, who they know to be the Sun God and the Warrior of Liberation.

Is Shanks Coming To Egghead?

Of course, when one thinks of the Giant Warrior Pirates, they automatically think of Red Hair Shanks as well. This is because fans know that Shanks is allied with Elbaf and he is protecting this land as his own territory. This also means that Shanks is allied with the Giants themselves, who fans know to be the mightiest race in the One Piece world.

The Giant Warrior Pirates themselves have a good relationship with Shanks and this was seen towards the end of the battle between the Red Hair Pirates and the Kid Pirates. Both Dorry and Brogy joined the battle and played a big part in destroying the enemy pirate crew.

In fact, both of them were revealed to have a deep relationship with Shanks as well. Fans were led to believe that Dorry and Brogy had met Shanks in the past, and both of them believed the other to have died. To put it simply, Shanks figured that Dorry and Brogy were dead. Meanwhile, Dorry and Brogy believed that Shanks was dead. Why that is the case, fans do not know. What is clear, however, is the fact that they have already met and are allied together.

The fact that they are currently on Egghead Implies that Shanks could be in the vicinity of the island as well. However, this is likely not going to be the case. This is simply down to the fact that the Giant Warrior Pirates are simply an ally crew of the Red Hair Pirates. They are not a subordinate crew or even a part of the Red Hair Pirates. Shanks meeting the Giant Warrior Pirates was simply because they were at the same place at the time. The Giant Warrior Pirates do not go around following the Red Hair Pirates and, currently, Shanks is likely on a completely different mission. Meanwhile, the journey for the Giant Warrior Pirates from Elbaf to Egghead is one that they likely took all by themselves and fans can rest assured that Shanks is most certainly not in the vicinity of Egghead Island. Shanks has either set off from the island of Elbaf already, or, he is currently in Elbaf, waiting for the arrival of Luffy.

Whatever the case, fans know that a meeting between Luffy and Shanks is coming very soon. It is highly likely that on the island of Elbaf, Luffy will finally be meeting Shanks and these two incredible pirates will then come face to face with each other, finally fulfilling a promise of a lifetime. For now, the focus will be on the Straw Hat Pirates to escape from Egghead by destroying both Saturn and Kizaru at the same time, and taking Vegapunk with them to Elbaf, which is where many major meetings might end up taking place in the story and that is something that every single fan is eagerly anticipating.
