Finally, the names of the Five Elders have been revealed to the fans after 20 long years of wait and, at the very same time, fans have also finally found out what roles they play within the World Government. All the members of the Gorosei are interesting in their own ways, however, Saint Topman Warcury has caught the eyes of many fans for various reasons.

Who Is Saint Topman Warcury?

Saint Topman Warcury was recently introduced in One Piece chapter 1086 of the manga. He is the member of the Five Elders with a bald head and a mustache that curls upwards from the sides. The very first member of the Five Elders who was named and the manga was Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. Fans did not expect the other members of the Gorosei to have their names revealed so quickly after him. Thankfully, One Piece chapter 1086 saw to it that all the members of the Five Elders had their names revealed to the fans. Now, every single member of the Gorosei is named.

Saint Topman Warcury is, evidently, named after the planet Mercury, the very first planet in the solar system. He's one of the highest ranking members of the Celestial Dragons and, to the common people, he is the highest power in the entire world. That is simply down to the fact that the world does not know about the existence of Saint Imu of the Nerona Family. In reality, the highest-ranking Celestial Dragon in the world of One Piece is Imu, as they said atop the Empty Throne as well. The Gorosei, which also includes Saint Topman Warcury, are simply their guards and underlings. Nonetheless, Saint Topman Warcury is still very important and holds a tremendous amount of power within the organization. His political influence is on par with every single other member of the Five Elders.

Saint Topman Warcury has also played a very important role in the many historical events leading up to this point in the story. He is a very old man and has been alive for quite a while now. In fact, a very popular idea is that Saint Topman Warcury, along with all the other members of the Five Elders, is immortal. This has been hinted at on several occasions in the story, primarily the many flashbacks that fans saw, such as the Ohara flashback, where the Gorosei seem to have a similar appearance to what they have right now.

In fact, recently, a look was provided of them in Vegapunk's cover story. Here too, the Gorosei appeared to hold the same looks, which is another damning piece of evidence that points towards the fact that Saint Topman Warcury could be immortal. As is evident from the name, Saint Topman Warcury is from the Topman Family, which is one of the Founding 20 families that created the World Government long ago. The Topman family fought against the Ancient Kingdom and ended up destroying it at some point. Later on, the Topman Family then moved to the Holy Land of Marijoa and there, swore a vow of equality in front of the Empty Throne. It is highly likely that Saint Topman Warcury himself is one of the Founding 20 if he is, in fact, immortal. If not, then St Topman Warcury is a descendant of the original Founding 20 member from the Topman Family. Either way, he plays a very important role in One Piece and fans can't wait to see what his character does next.

Saint Topman Warcury As The Warrior God Of Justice

Recently, One Piece chapter 1086 also revealed the existence of the Warrior Gods of the world. Expectedly, these positions are held by none other than the members of the Five Elders. Every single Elder is a Warrior God. Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is the Warrior God of Finance, Saint Marcus Mars is the Warrior God of the Environment, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter is the Warrior God of Agriculture, and, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn is the Warrior God of Science and Defense. Similarly, Saint Topman Warcury is the Warrior God of Justice. The title of "Warrior God of Justice" is an intriguing one and can be dissected by the fans very well. The "Warrior God" part can be understood by the fans to some degree. The term God refers to the fact that they are Celestial Dragons, who, as fans know, call themselves to be the Gods of the world. At the same time, he is also a Warrior and capable of fighting, which is evident from his performance against Sabo in One Piece chapter 1085. All the members of the Five Elders carry immense pedigree and, at the same time, fighting prowess as well. As such, the term Warrior God is befitting them.

In the case of Topman Warcury, the title is the Warrior God of Justice. While the exact meaning of this title is unknown at this point in time, it could be that all things related to justice pass through Saint Topman Warcury within the World Government. It could also mean that his Devil Fruit powers have something to do with justice or that he possesses the powers of a mythical creature known to have the power to pass judgment. Nonetheless, fans will surely understand the true extent of his title as the story progresses.

How Strong Is Saint Topman Warcury?

Sabo vs Imu and gorosei one piece chapter 1085

It goes without saying that Saint Topman Warcury is going to be one of the most powerful characters seen in One Piece so far. This is evident from his showing in One Piece 1085 and also the fact that he is named a Warrior God of the world. Fans have already seen Saint Topman Warcury use his Devil Fruit powers. While his transformation was kept in a silhouette, finds could, somewhat make out the fact that his power seems to be Zoan type. Given that Mythical Zoan are the rarest and, also, in most cases, the strongest of all the Zoans, the Gorosei are likely to have Mythical Zoan powers, which would mean that Saint Topman Warcury also has a Mythical Zoan ability.

From the silhouette, it appears that his powers are either that of a mythical elephant-like creature, or a hippo. Of course, the actual ability could be anything, as Oda is not usually accurate with his silhouettes. In the future, fans will likely find out more about his Devil Fruit powers. What fans can say for sure is that this Devil Fruit power is going to be legendary and will make him one of the strongest fighters in the entire world of One Piece.

Along with a powerful Devil Fruit ability, fans should also expect Saint Topman Warcury to be a very powerful user of Haki. All the Gorosei, in fact, should be strong users of Haki, given how strong they are. At the very least, they should have incredible control over both Observation and Armament Haki. In fact, their Observation Haki was somewhat hinted at in One Piece chapter 1085 as they reacted to Sabo jumping into the room immediately. When it comes to their Armament Haki, it should be trained to a very high level as well.

Finally, fans should also not be surprised to see Saint Topman Warcury have Conqueror's Haki. This is an ability that those with kingly ambitions possess and, given that the Celestial Dragons are the Gods of the world and the Five Elders could very well be part of the Founding 20 Kings or be direct descendants of them, holding the power of the Supreme King Haki should not come as a surprise to fans at all. Hopefully, Saint Topman Warcury will play a major role in the story going forward and, for now, fans should wait in anticipation for order to draw his abilities.
