With One Piece in its final saga, it can be expected that every major revelation that fans have waited years for will slowly be made. More importantly, the Five Elders, who have now entered the fray are going to play an incredibly important role. Fans know the most intriguing member of the Five Elders to be none other than Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro.

Who Is Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro?

St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro was introduced to the fans before the timeskip of the story. Among all the Five Elder members, he was the one that fans had their eyes on the most and, perhaps, this was because he was in possession of a legendary weapon, the Shodai Kitetsu. In One Piece chapter 1086, the bald Elder's name was finally revealed to the fans and just upon the first glance, it is quite clear to see that he is named after the second planet in the solar system, Venus. This is in line with every other member of the 5 Elders as well. Each of them is named after a planet in the solar system. Warcury is named after Mercury, V. Nusjuro is named after Venus, Marcus Mars is named after Mars, Ju Peter is named after Jupiter and, Saturn is named after the planet Saturn.

Just like all other members of the Five Elders, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is also a Warrior God of the One Piece world. This means that he is a combatant and also incredibly powerful. His role within the World Government pertains to finance as he is named to be the Warrior God of Finance. As with all other members of the Gorosei, he is a servant of the Great Imu and does as they will. Although all members of the Gorosei are likely incredibly powerful, this one, in particular, has got the eyes of the fans, since he's the only one not wearing a suit and the only one carrying a katana instead of a pistol.

V. Nusjuro's Connection To Wano

Looking at the character design of Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, it is quite interesting that they seem to have some links to the land of Wano. For one, fans know for a fact that the suffix "-Juro" is extensively used in the land of Wano and this was confirmed through Zoro, who received this suffix in the Wano arc and went by the name of Zorojuro. The fact that V. Nusjuro also has the same suffix indicates that there is some link between him and the land of Wano.

At the same time, looking at the character design of this particular individual, it is clear that they wear clothing that is very different from the other members of the Five Elders. While all the others wear suits, V. Nusjuro wears a kimono, which is, once again, linked to the land of Wano. At the same time, coming over to their weapons, every member of the Five Elders seems to be in possession of a pistol, even though that isn't their main weapon, clearly. In the case of V. Nusjuro, however, thanks are quite different. He does not seem to carry a pistol at all. Instead, he carries a katana, which is once again, a mark of a samurai from the land of Wano.

What's even more damning is the fact that V. Nusjuro is the Warrior God of Finance. In the distant past, the land of Wano was famous as the Country of Gold, as was mentioned by Gyukimaru in the Wano arc when he fought Zoro on the Oihagi Bridge. All these things indicate that V. Nusjuro might actually hail from the land of Wano of the past. However, fans also know Wano to be an ally of the Ancient Kingdom. That would mean that the Eatonbaron Family was somehow linked to Wano and betrayed them to join the Celestial Dragons and the Founding 20.

How Strong Is Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro?

When it comes to strength, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro is going to be monstrously powerful. This is indicative of his Warrior God title and the short demonstration he gave of his Devil Fruit ability to the fans in One Piece 1085. As a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit user, he is certainly going to be one of the very strongest seen in One Piece. He also appears to have a cloud ring around his neck and, while it is unconfirmed, this could also be a sign of Devil Fruit Awakening. Judging by the fact that he keeps his human-like appearance, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro could be a user of a variant of the Hito Hito no Mi. This in itself makes him an incredible threat.

However, at the same time, fans also know that he is a powerful swordsman. St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro has what could be considered to be one of the most prized swords in the One Piece world and, that is, the Shodai Kitetsu. It is the very first Kitetsu blade to have ever been made and ranks among the 12 Supreme Grade swords. The Shodai Kitetsu carries the same curse as all other Kitetsu blades and brings a terrible death to its wielder, only stronger. However, the fact that V. Nusjuro wields it means that he has bent the sword to his will.

Furthermore, the Saijo O Wazamono swords are only wielded by the very strongest of the One Piece world. So far, four characters have wielded these weapons and they are Whitebeard, Roger, Mihawk, and V. Nujsuro. Knowing how strong the other three characters are, fans can definitely assume Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro to be an incredibly dangerous fighter.

As fans know, V. Nusjuro is going to be a powerful swordsman and that means he is going to be an incredible user of Ryuo as well. Fans are well aware of what Ryuo is, given that it was explained in detail in the Wano Country arc. Furthermore, given that Saint Ethanbaron V. Nujsuro stems from a line of the 20 Kings or, might even be one of the original 20 Kings if he is immortal, then the chances of them having the power of the Color of the Supreme King increase as well. Interestingly, all characters in One Piece who wield Supreme Great Weapons are users of Conqueror's Haki.

Whichever direction Oda takes with Saint Ethanbaron V. Nujsuro, fans can rest assured that this character is going to be incredibly important in the future and, at the same time, tremendously powerful as well.
