Kuma has held this power for quite a long time and, given the hero that he has been his entire life, he has saved and helped countless people. Kuma has also been aiding the Revolutionary Army greatly and much of that is down to his Devil Fruit as well. The Previous User Of The Nikyu Nikyu no Mi

Fans know quite a lot about the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi current user, Kuma, who happens to be a buccaneer. This Devil Fruit was definitely highly coveted by the World Government, which is why it was a prize in the Native Hunting Games. Furthermore, the paws that this Devil Fruit grants are officially known as the hands of liberation, and that in itself connects it to Nika in many ways. Nika is the Warrior of liberation and this Devil Fruit grants one the hands of liberation. Now, that certainly does not mean that Nika was the previous user of this Devil Fruit. That simply cannot be possible since fans already know that the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika existed long ago. However, this does open up the possibility for another individual to hold the Devil Fruit and that person is none other than Nefertari D. Lily.

Fans know Lily to be the Empress of the Kingdom of Arabasta and she was one of the Founding 20 of the World Government as well. However, she did not join the other Kings in ascending to the Holy Land of Marijoa as she believed that her duties to the kingdom of Arabasta were of paramount importance. Imu believes that Lily betrayed them and was aiding the Ancient Kingdom. Imu even believes that she was the one responsible for spreading the Poneglyphs all over the world. Given that the ability to repel things belongs to the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, only a power such as this one can accomplish such a magnificent feat. As such, Lily could potentially have been the former user of this Devil Fruit and she could have utilized its powers to spread the Poneglyphs all over the One Piece world after the kozuki crafted them. This could then be why Imu hated her and had her erased, but through her job, her legacy remains alive to this day.
