The Revolutionary Army is one of the strongest forces in the world of One Piece. Established by none other than Monkey D. Dragon, this army has grown significantly over the years. The Revolutionary Army was established around 20 years ago in the story. While their start wasn't as impressive, in time, they went on to establish an incredible force capable of rivaling the Three Great Powers and even the World Government itself.

Currently, the Revolutionary Army is home to some of the strongest people in One Piece and, even aside from Dragon, they have several incredible fighters in their ranks. How The Revolutionary Army Was Established

Bartolomeo Kuma Monkey D Dragon Ivankov one piece

The Revolutionary Army came into existence at some point after the tragedy of Ohara. 22 years ago, when Ohara was destroyed in the West Blue, Dragon visited the island and, at that point, he had not established the Revolutionary Army. In fact, he was the leader of the Freedom Fighters and it was only after the tragedy of Ohara that Dragon decided that the world needed a force that would be strong enough to fight the World Government and give courage and hope to the oppressed. Dragon wanted to fight on their behalf and liberate them from the tyrannical grip of the World Government. After that, he quickly formed an alliance with Bartholomew Kuma and Emporio Ivankov and, together, they established the Revolutionary Army.

Soon after, the threat of the Revolutionary Army grew significantly. Dragon was brought up at the Reverie as a growing force and it wasn't long until he established a significantly powerful army of his own. Currently, Dragon's Revolutionary Army stands tall as one of the greatest organizations seen in the story. Dragon himself is the World's Worst Criminal while his commanders are just infamous, it's not more. Sabo, the Flame Emperor, is known to be even more infamous than Dragon himself and there are more Revolutionary Army Commanders who the fans now know to be very powerful. These are the Four Commanders of the Revolutionary Army, each of which leads one of the forces in each quadrant of the world.

The Power Of The Revolutionary Army Commanders

Sabo one piece chapter 1082-1

During the Reverie, Sabo led emission to declare war against the Celestial Dragons. He managed to infiltrate the Holy Land of Marijoa and there, he destroyed the Hoof of the Celestial Dragons, freed all the slaves, including Bartholomew Kuma, and, finally, destroyed the food storage of the Celestial Dragons, paving the way for Marijoa to be put under siege. While Sabo did all this, the Revolutionary Army aided him greatly. Sabo had Karasu, leader of the Northern Forces, Lindbergh, the leader of the Southern Forces, and Morley, the leader of the Western forces with him. While Lindbergh freed all the slaves, Karasu and Morley fought against an Admiral each, which is nothing short of staggering.

As fans already know, the Revolutionary Army commanders were met with resistance by Fujitora and Green Bull, both of which are known to be incredibly powerful. Previously, fans assumed that all Commanders, including the Chief of Staff, combined their forces to battle Admirals, however, that was far from the case. Lindbergh freed the slaves while Sabo looked for Kuma and the keys to the collars of the other slaves. Meanwhile, Morley and Karasu took on Green Bull and Fujitora respectively.

Much to the surprise of the fans, they held their own against them, which is an incredible feat. In fact, if anything, the Commanders had an upper hand in the battle as they managed to complete all of their objectives and leave the battlefield unscathed. Meanwhile, fans know that Fujitora was bandaged up following the Reverie, meaning that he was injured in the class to some extent, which is a testament to the strength of Karasu. Green Bull likely suffered a similar fate. While it is true that the Admirals were handicapped because of the location, suggestions that the Revolutionary Army Commanders went all out wouldn't be accurate either. In fact, the Revolutionary Army were also protecting the slaves and, at the same time, would not want to kill anyone either.

As mentioned by the CP0 members themselves, it was incredibly impressive for the Revolutionary Army Commanders to hold their own against the Admirals of the Navy. Fans previously assumed that these characters were not all that strong, especially since their bounty was not even past 500 million. However, given how Oda has portrayed them, these fighters are individually capable of holding off an admiral on their own. Their power will consistently keep growing and a true showing of their capabilities is yet to come.
