The left-hand man of the former Pirate King Roger, Gaban is an incredibly important member of the Roger Pirates. He was one of the strongest members of the crew and Roger himself believed him to be one of his most precious underlings.

After the Roger Pirates were disbanded, Gaban went his own way and he has completely vanished ever since. Not even a mention of this character has been made in the story and that is quite weird, given that he holds quite a lot of importance to the Roger Pirates and his position in the crew was very high. Perhaps, in the Final Saga, fans will find out where this character is.

7 Yorki

Yorki was the captain of the Rumbar Pirates and was Brook’s former leader. He was quite a jolly fellow, however, unfortunately, he befell a very terrible fate as contracted an illness that kept him from continuing his role as a pirate in One Piece.

Yorki was sent by the Rumbar Pirates through the Calm Belt, which is a nest of the Sea Kings. However, his death was never explicitly confirmed. As such, there is a chance that he was able to survive. However, fans have not heard anything about him over the years.

6 Wang Zhi

A pirate that was recently introduced in One Piece, Wang Zhi was revealed to be a former member of the Rocks crew. After the destruction of the Rocks Pirates on God Valley 38 years ago, every single underling that Rocks had started making their own name and made it big in the Grand Line.

Wang Zhi is certainly one of those pirates. It is believed that after Rocks, he took over the Pirate Island and held it for decades upon decades. He had this position for quite a while, however, during the timeskip, Blackbeard, combining his force with the likes of Law and Koby, managed to defeat him and secure this island from him. It is unknown if Wang Zhi ended up dying or if he simply left the island.

Silver Ax is yet another powerful pirate that was a member of the Rocks Pirates. This pirate is believed to be one of the many legends who sailed under Rocks's flag. On the day of the God Valley Incident, he fought against the forces of the Roger Pirates, Marines, and the Holy Knights.

It is unknown what exactly happened to him after the events of the God Valley Incident. For a legendary figure such as him, simply vanishing is quite weird. Perhaps, Silver Ax will show up later on in the series.

Gin is a character that many One Piece fans hold quite dear to their hearts. Although he showed up quite early in the series, no fan has truly forgotten him. Gin was severely poisoned in the Baratie arc, however, he wanted to meet Luffy and Sanji in the Grand Line one day.

Sadly, Gin has not shown up ever since and fans don't even know if he ended up surviving his poisoning or not.

The Third Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Diamond Jozu was certainly an incredibly powerful pirate. In the Paramount War, he was strong enough to fight against Aokiji and hold his own. Jozu was certainly a menace and even though he ended up being frozen in the Paramount War, he made it out alive.

He went on to fight in the Payback War, however, after the pirate crew was crushed, he simply vanished. Fans do not know where Jozu is right now and if he will ever show up in the story again.

2 Vista

The Fifth Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Vista was the strongest swordsman that sailed under Whitebeard's flag. In the Paramount War, he traded blows with Mihawk and was able to match him in combat.

Following the Paramount War, Vista fought in the Grudge War as well. This time, he ended up losing, and he simply vanished ever since, just like his fellow pirate, Jozu.

Undoubtedly, among all the pirates with unknown whereabouts, Shiki tops the list. He is a pirate worthy of rivaling the likes of Roger and the legendary figure in the One Piece world. Shiki held tremendous might, such that he even escaped Impel Down after chopping his own legs off.

After he escaped the prison, it is unknown where exactly he went and what he did after. What fans do know is that he hasn't made any appearance in One Piece ever since. Whether he will ever return to the story or not remains to be seen.
