In the RPG One Piece Odyssey, players will find themselves on a large and mysterious island that goes by the name of Waford. While exploring this island in an attempt to recover the lost powers of the Straw Hat crew, players will quickly realize that walking around the island can be quite tedious if players need to backtrack to pick up something they missed or to head to a camp. Luckily, the game has anticipated this and has provided a fast-travel system so that players do not have to walk back to previous areas. But players will have to wait a bit before they can use it.

Yoisa Fast Travel Signs

After playing through the first few hours of One Piece Odyssey, players will notice many signposts that dot the landscape of the island of Waford. These signs can be interacted with, yet the Straw Hats will simply comment that they do not know what these signs are for initially. Nonetheless, players should interact with every sign they see, as this will count the sign as being discovered, allowing players to travel to them when they eventually unlock fast travel.

These signs are placed everywhere around the island and throughout the various places that the island will send you, allowing for a wide variety of places to return to if players are diligent in touching every sign they see.

Fast Travel Quest

To unlock fast travel in One Piece Odyssey, players will have to progress through the game until they reach the second chapter of the story. This chapter sees the party in the familiar deserts of Alabasta, home of Princess Vivi, as they find themselves in the midst of a story in which the Straw Hats will revisit many areas they remember from their adventures.

Presented as chapters, these areas will have many things players need to return to after progressing through the story, necessitating fast travel. While progressing through Alabasta, players will eventually come across a little yellow Yoisa with a problem that needs to be solved.

Fast Travel Meeting Yoisa

These little yellow creatures are kind and benevolent but are constantly bullied by their cousins, the Eisa. One of these unfortunate Yoisa will approach the Straw Hats and steal Nami’s wallet, much to her great displeasure. On her insistence, players will be prompted to go and chase this little creature to get her money back, but learn that it is a little more complicated than it first seems. Players will be able to find this Yoisa again by following the red sign that will be placed on the map, leading south as the story prompts.

Fast Travel Found Yoisa

When players catch the humble little Yoisa, they will realize, with the help of the Straw Hat's Doctor Chopper, that the Yoisa had been bullied into stealing a pack of Eisa, which will then attack the party upon being discovered.

Fast Travel Eisa Bully

Players that defeat the group of Eisa and speak to the Yoisa will find that this cute little critter will then offer its services as a guide around the island of Waford, which will finally unlock the ability to travel fast to any sign that had previously been discovered.

With this, players will be able to return to any location they wanted to in order to accomplish any goal they may have forgotten about or perhaps just to pick up some treasure they have missed.

One Piece Odyssey is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
